Her bow prof gives her silver bows on warrior, which is very valuable in the mid-game. You could technically also go Sniper if you want 20-range Astra, but stats aren't as good and no axes or chain attack. Anna can also do decently on Warrior thanks to the radiant bow, and she gets silver bow access too, but ideally you want something that takes full advantage of her huge MAG growth, and for that I recommend Sage with Byleth. Byleth's luck boost plays into her personal skill, and by the time she gets DP+, she will never have to think about accuracy again. Thyrsus is a great tool for positioning, and the MAG and SPD boosts are nice too. Anna is naturally fast, so she should have no problems hitting double thresholds.

But like that's not terrible she's just like the largely interchangeable 5th place for best role a pre-squeeze early game unit can fill. It's better than Yunaka who's stuck in thief hell and has a direct upgrade to her join during the squeeze.

She singlehandedly overcame RNG and survived pretty much a death sentence after Kagetsu got folded like paper after I recruited him on Hard/Maddening, whichever the more difficult was you can do first go before DLC. Seriously, I was willing to sacrifice her in a forest by herself but she just refused to die, dodging and tanking like 15 hits in a row with 10-20% dodge. Also tummy mod is yummy. I made her a Warrior to keep tummy.Beyond that, Virion for the sole purpose of that he can beat Robin as a strategist but knows his way won't win long term as it involves too many sacrifices.
