"buy used" they said...
No one ever said that. This is what you get for listening to the voices in your head.
>>735110603where are the games though
You bought a 12 year old system, if it works who cares honestly
I forgot the point of consoles was to stare at them.
I've bought used consoles before no problem.
Why did you buy something without seeing it first? Are you retarded?
>>735110603Never played a single game!
>>735110603Who cares as long as it still works
I'll never buy used anything. Poor people worried about used
>>735110603Notice what he has "not" bought for is PS4.
Exterior dirt doesnt mean anything. Its just a shell. As long as the internal components are good thats all that matters. But this faggot wont show the insides.
>>735110603Who is they?
>>735111372Imagine the dust accumulation.
>what no games does to mfer
>>735111939Dusting is easy. The little scuffs are all on the outside unless it was thrown around by some niggers.
>>735110698Yeah, this. Buying a PS4 in 2026 is like buying a SNES in 2005 when the Xbox 360 was out. That console is old as fuck.
>>735110678On my shelf.
>>735110603>punished PS4>a console robbed of his games
>>735110603just be happy it doesn't have bedbugs or roaches living inside it
>>735110603Just, clean it?
>>735110603I bought a used PS3 from Gamestop after mine was stolen and the fucking HDMI was so busted it wouldn't even hold a cable in, it would just flop out promptly took it back and just bought a new one somewhere else
>>735110603Ok, but does it work? If it does then there's no issue.
>>735112247Difference is a PS4 is still weirdly viable in 2026. Showing its age, but not outclassed beyond reason.
I bought a used sega genesis once back in the 90s. It stopped working two days after I got it. I opened it up and it was full of live cockroaches. Thank fucking god I gamed in a heated garage and not my house. Still cost $500 in 1998 to fumigate it. Never bought used again.
>>735112247The SNES wasn't getting new games in 2005, the PS4 is.
>>735110603if there are no roaches in there you got something good
If you're going to buy old tech you need to get comfortable opening them up, cleaning them and possibly doing repairs.Consoles from the 80s and 90s had solder points the size of trucks but zoomies are going to have to learn microsoldering to save their nostalgic devices
>>735114547>The SNES wasn't getting new games in 2005, the PS4 is.Even less reason to care, if you bought an old used PS4 just to play new games and not for collector reasons what's the problem?
>>735110603Does it work? Yes? Then who cares?>>735111939Imagine cleaning, faggot. Just use an air compressor, an air duster, wtv the fuck you want in the same way that you would for a PC.
>>735115001nta, but cleaning a PS4 is a hassle. Sony did not want people disassembling those things. Still better than throwing out a perfectly good console because its dirty though.
>>735110603Snoys are shitskins who don’t care for their belongings. If you want decent used consoles you have to hit up tendie estate sales
>>735110603you are supposed to check if it actually work, also is a good to throughfully clean it before use, you don't know if some sicko jizzed on it.
>>735114750Granted nu-consoles are more likely to get away with just a thermal paste swap rather than a full recap for atleast 40 years.
>>735110603Only buy used consoles (and anything vidya-related honestly) from japan>how do you do thatAuction
We said USED not ABUSED
My current 360 was so fucking full of weed smoke dust and grime when I bought it, the second the fan started when it was turned on it smelled like my house was being gassed. It took me over two days to clean it and it was by far the dirtiest second-hand purchase I ever made. It was the only time I ever actually gave a motherboard a full rubbing alcohol bath/scrub and I even completely disassembled the DVD drive, which took me almost an entire day to put back together properly because it kept not being recognized by the 360 when I tried testing it. It still kind of smells even after all the cleaning but it's only a hint of dank after playing it for a while instead of the instant hotbox stench it gave off when I first tried playing shit on it.Aside from that though the shell is in really good condition, it's the only reason I didn't want to return it.
So, Netflix doesn't work on the ps3 now?
Are ps4s worthless now that ps5 is out?Idk what do with mine.Is it just a remote play device to stream the ps5 on another TV now?
>>735118229it's a blu ray player that can technically run bloodborne, but worse than a mid-range pc
>>735110603I would never do that nowadays with how fucking retarded second hand console prices are. Back in the day you could get good deals. I remember I got a GBC for $10 AUD.
>>735118229A used PS4 is like $150 tops, probably hackable if it wasn't updated in a while, and you don't miss out on any games because the PS5 doesn't have any. It's great for poorfag gaming.
>Used goods, Japan is actually real
>>735112058>>735113205The ps4 actually has tons of cheap games
>anons ITT dont realize that the ps4 is basically the ps2 2.0
>>735118676the ps2 had more than one exclusive game worth playing
>>735110603>Buy cheapest available listing>From a shady, unverified seller>Site unseenYou get what pay for, idiot.
>>735119839>site unseenit's a doggy dog world, should of been more careful
>>735110603now that machine has some characterthey charge extra for that in San Francisco
>>735114523I'm a retarded and I bought a used PSU for a budget rig a while ago. After I brought it home, I put it in my closet since I still had other components to buy. Sometime after, I noticed a bigass cockroach on the closet door, and a small one in the living room. My household is very clean and I'm not a slob, so it was obvious where they came from. I looked inside the grill of the PSU, and found all sorts of creepy crawlies. I panicked, cleaned out everything, and basically nuked my home with insecticides.
>>735116065did it last year, honestly not that hard besides one stubborn plug that I was very worried about breaking so I used a tiny plier to get it out. There are video guides that walk you through it step by step.>>735118229if you didn't own one before it's great to go through all the old games, a lot of people are surprisingly still on there too so you can still play online games in peak hours.
>>735118337yeah, wtf happened? I remember one summer I pooled what little cash I had with other teens and we got a gbc, controllers and a bunch of multiplayer games for around 50eu total.
>>735120319>if you didn't own one before it's great to go through all the old games, a lot of people are surprisingly still on there too so you can still play online games in peak hours.I already had a ps4, now I have a ps4
>>735110603used you said?
>>735110603>they said...That was me, I did it to trick you
>buy ps2 from flea market at $25>covered in dust and a little sticky>open it up, completely filled with dust and what I'm assuming was cherry coke inside the Memory card 2 slot>clean it and plug it in>works flawlesslySure you can say that I'm the exception but I never had troubles when buying used consoles, the worst thing that happened to me was buying an xboxone for $30 and finding out the hard drive was missing, but it is what it is.
>>735120114That game was better as a demo, wintermute is boring as fuck.>>735120382my bad, didn't read properly. I'm planning on jailbreaking my second ps4 (friend gave it to me when he got a ps5) sometime this year so I can play previous gen games on it. Other than that I guess it's a streaming box but nowadays any tv can do that already.
>>735119940Retards who don't know how to evaluate goods are a diamond dosen.
https://youtu.be/7YuhvbBZ_qw?si=0Rq0XM5uO_D-GjwNGameStop used hardware is a joke
>>735110603just buy a new case for it. as long as the internal components are still good then it is no problem.
Post the screencap of someone's second hand WiiU with brown recluse bundle inside.
