Seven Deadly Sins is one of those manga that got cursed by its own success
The original manga should've ended much sooner than it did and the sequel was unnecessary. Instead of ending it as a single good work it became a series of gradually declining stories

The manga/anime is probably one of the best examples of the rapid decline to get a good limited idea gets put through the jap sucessess soausage factory of endless extensions and spin-offs.
The series declines sharply after the first bag guy gets beaten and they introduce unironic DBZ scouters.
