Whats he gonna flop this time?
>>735112807Vita had too many sovlful games that need to be respected. Gravity Rush. Soul Sacrifice.
>>735112974Nah they were weebslop
He needs to lean into SH and either: 1. Make a studio that Konami lets make a new SH game. 2. Make a new Siren game. 3. WORK FOR CAPCOM or be hired by capcom.I bet you anything if he had stayed with Konami, he'd be as well known as Shinji Mikami and the SH games would have been much more popular. Sh2-3 are great games, but they're kinda artsy and alienated gamers at the time leading to it being a niche series.
>>735113151True, but they still deserved better.
>>735112807hopefully slitterhead 2
>>735113250Siren games dont sell thoAnd i say that as a fan
>>735113431>Siren games dont sell tho>And i say that as a fanI know, but now is the time a reboot could actually work. If you make it polished and look good. Siren games had a bit of jank and flew under the radar, but they were very forward thinking and pushed the formula. SH advanced on the RE formula. Siren advanced on SH. But, Siren was made by Sony, with a less experienced team. I bet you anything if Siren was made by Konami with Team Silent it'd be polished and fantastic.I like Sh2, but it's more akin to god damn Ico (lots of walking, atmosphere, easy combat) than SH1. SH2 actually doomed the series since it was a big budget sequel people wanted, but it was almost perfectly designed to alienate gamers. It was lacking the original director who'd ensure it'd be a more enjoyable game.
>>735113250toyama makes original games with innovative ideas (even if they don't always work). we don't need more sequels of the same ips people like you are the reason they keep making remakes and "spiritual sequels" unironically kill yourself
>>735113740Yes, yes, yes, he's Le Creatividad. But while Gravity Rush is interesting, it's a creatively niche game. Siren and SH are really neat concepts, and i'd like to see a modern take on it.
>>735113250>he'd be as well known as Shinji MikamiHe's known and respected by other japanese developers, do you want him to be more popular so he can make slop for retarded goycattle in the west?
>>735114098We know that, but what I'm saying is he could have been Konami's Shinji, and he would have been the director or producer on the PS2 SH games, and he'd have a lot more cred, influence and most notably bigger budgets. He was a fool to jump ship after his first hit game.
If you didn't 100% Slitterhead you have no right to talk about Toyama or what the GOAT makes next.
>>735114424Its very tedious to 100%Not worth it
