So you get way better stealth and combat but traversal takes a bit of a back seat, specially if you use vehicles.

>>735118746The added difficulty starts making it so that you actually need to bring repair spray if you're expecting any kind of rain while on foot with exposed cargo, because timefall will melt it to the point of it causing damage very quick. Which in turn also makes the little upgraded shelters with repair sprays much more interesting to place and use. It'll also make guys with guns somewhat scary, because they'll put you down pretty quick. All in all it's good at forcing you to interact with a lot more of the tools/mechanics in the game. Before the added difficulty you could still get away with using very little of your kit if you were just capable of not faceplanting every few steps. BTs and regular mules stay kind of a nonissue as long as you keep some blood/piss/bolas on you
