I am currently playing Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC in Paris and I am literally stunned by this visual beauty.For a lover of the French-German High Middle Ages like myself, this game is a blessing. Paris in 800 > NYC in 2000Of course, screenshots taken with the generic Windows tool and compression don't show its full potential. But I can assure you that on a 4K HDR OLED TV, you'll be blown away.I'm actually crying because it's so beautiful.Carolingians forever
I know Valhalla was a pretty weak game overall but give credit where credit is due, the map design is fantastic. The post apoclyptic atmosphere is great.

>>735114412I mean, I've never heard anyone seriously criticize Asscreed for the map design. At least up until Valhalla the environmental design has been absolutely stellar and packed with detail. Not sure about Shadows but it's probably good too. The problem is that map design can only carry you so far when the rest of the game is dogshit.
