Here's your sailing game, bro.https://youtu.be/wxFg_nxrczA>"Command a fleet of formerly enslaved people who became pirates in Brazil’s Bay of All Saints. >>735114502I'm tired bros. and it's the type of tired that sleep don't fix.
Why can't they just make a good fucking sailing game? I've even had to resort to playing Buccanyar to get my fix.
I don't understand. Relooted flopped hard, Zabu flopped hard, all these games are flopping hard. Why do they keep doing it?
>>735115073Someone keeps giving them free money (taxpayer)
>>735115073Someone here explained it a while ago. It might not be true, it might be true, but it works like this:A game developing project is announced. "Private Investors" which could be anything from development firms to the government, give the head of the project one massive lump sum to include their "requirements" into the game. Now, the actual devs that are working on it such as animators, level designers, scriptors, etc, don't see a cent of that money, and they don't know that the head of the project was given said lump sum. They're simply following orders. After the game is released, regardless of if it's a flop or not, the head of the project is swimming in money while the lessers have to look for new jobs. But good luck putting "Concord" on a resume. It is literally about pushing a message ahead of the quality of the game. It's not about making a masterpiece anymore.
