I think 2 is easily the best
1 tries to pretend to be a horror game for a bit before it becomes standard 7th gen shooter in corridors. 2 at least has some fun set pieces and goes over the top with the gore in ways that I found rather fun.

1 and 2 are already spoken for, so I'll comment on 3. It's a fun co-op shooter, albeit buggy at times. Some neat sections wherein you'll see one thing, and your partner will see another. If you enjoyed stuff like Army of 2 and RE5 and Gears with a pal, you'll probably enjoy Dead Space 3. It's very much a product of it's time, and had it not released in the midst of that era it could've been so much better; but it'll better your friendship out of fun or shared derision.

Good luck with the EA launcher, though.

2 fucking clears. Everything a sequel should be, and it doesn't do anything to take away from what makes 1 special.
