Is this game good? I'm gonna be 100% honest with you all it caught my eye just because of the character creator, but I heard that the guy who made DMC made it and I like those games.

i have over 100 hours on this game and i genuinely wanted this game to be good but it doesn't have the same charm as the first game.

You know how there are games that have very positive reviews because everyone who bought the game is a fucking retard and self selected to eat shit? Well with this game, its kind of the opposite. Theres nothing wrong with it, the world is nice, the combat feels good, there is exploration, you will have a lot of hours of fun, but because of identifying with dark arisen hipsterism you will hear very gay complaints like it hads less enemies and the pawns look less fuckable or other soft brained horseshit invalid non-criticisms. Its fun. There's nothing wrong with it.

Easily superior to Souls and Scrolls. 1 has the advantage with height and body types, 2 scaled that back. 1 also has better clothing customization with various clothing layers, 2 simplified it to much fewer.
>>735130892If you DON'T know much about Dragon's Dogma, it is incredible.The Anons here on /v/ that had prior experience with the first game and Dark Arisen, had EXTREMELY HIGH expectations and hype for DD2 that never met the bar so there is a lot of complaining.That said, the reveal announcement and the NEVER SAY NEVER threads were fucking peak.
Honestly it might be worth it to play DD2 first and then play DD:DA next, just so you can see it get substantially better. DD2 isn't the worst game Capcom's ever shit out by far, but anyone that got fleeced like me buying it day one out of excitement felt like a fucking retard after an hour or two.
