What game makes you feel innocent again every time you play it?I just started playing Pac-Man World for the first time in over 10 years. I used to play it on my PS2 when I was about 8. I couldn't complete most of the game or beat the bosses, but I've always loved it. The sound effects and the levels make me feel so good.

Probably Wario World, since it was a game I only caught glimpses of when I was younger, yet those memories of renting it are vivid.It's a very earnest experience that respects the player and ends right when it should, you dont really have time to actively complain about reskinned enemies or such. Puzzles are just the right level of brain teaser, bosses are fun, animations are bombastic. It's almost the platonic ideal of a video game.Love me some Pac Man World 2 too, I ought to replay it since it also is pretty short. I've been thinking about getting the remake which supposedly makes welcome changes to the water levels and dot collection no longer being required for 100%.
