Marathon is, for me, the best multiplayer game we've had in a very, very long time. It has such a unique and rare atmosphere and character. I can't accept that such a game, such a masterpiece (for a multiplayer game to have so much soul and depth), isn't a resounding success everywhere.It would be catastrophic for such a game to die with so many qualities.I'm quite indignant about the bashing it's received without any valid reason. I'll even go further, and I don't care if this is taken the wrong way, but the game is objectively—and I mean objectively—very good, at the very least. This observation can only be made by players who have actually played the game and made the effort to understand its mechanics. The reality is that gamers have become too easily manipulated and, above all, too easily influenced. Twitter and gaming channels specializing in generating negative buzz, with their constant hatred of anything released to generate clicks, are the cancer of this medium.

The only looter shooter I like is Warframe, and the movement is a huge part of it.
I really wish they'd increase the vault size, I like going in with free kits and seeing how much I can trade up but if I do like two successful runs my vault's maxed out. It really disincentivizes me from using uncommon guns too, I'm not going to get comfortable with something new in a single run but I don't have the vault space to stock up multiples to properly get acclimated to them either. I know they're changing stacking sizes which is nice for shit that already should have stacked like self revives and the fancier medkits but it's not going to fix the bigger issues like implants and cores and if everyone's vaults get mulched after 3 months anyway then what's the harm in letting people horde a little more until then?
Make a full PvE mode and make PvP optional and I will buy your game. There's no way that will happen though considering that this game is a total flop.

Game sold decently. It is not just going to disappear. Maybe it won't last forever, but who cares? I have 20 hours into it already. That's 2 bucks an hour. Money well spent. It's like, retrofuturism for ten or fifteen years ago. It's weird and nostalgic and really sick. I wish there were less wide open spaces, I hate clicking on little shapes 500m away. All of the apex-y or extraction-y things like ducking away and using consumables kind of sucks ass. I really would prefer old school bro shooter regen over that, but i guess good resource management opens opportunities for tempo control & stuff.
