DQfags, sell me on your series. i tried 3 but couldn't get into it, is there a different one on sale right now i should take a shot at?
If you want one from the steam sale, XI is probably the only one worth getting if you didn't like III. I&2 HD2D have their fair share of differences from III but are ultimately still very similar in most regards, VII Reimagined is not on sale and is a little divisive, and YMMV regarding the spinoffs available on steam. Builders 2 is good if you're into that kind of gamesXI is a huge ass game and it has its flaws (repetitive music, some questionable plot points especially postgame, etc) but it might also scratch the itch if what you want is a big long colorful adventure. Otherwise you can also try emulating IV DS, V DS, VIII PS2 or IX DS depending on what you're looking for
dq5 ps2 is pretty sick and already translatedi dont know if you like dq thomaybe dq2 tobi's journey translated on 3ds would be your thing if you like hacking 3ds' or have a good citra build, usually the 3ds runs games way better than citra
