Dead Space 1 & 2 really were amazing games.
teens love the gore in these games. it reminds them of their beloved ukraine war drone footage.
>>735166096No doubt. Shame ea is stupid and greedy and ugly, too.
>>735166096Yeah, they were better than RE4 in my opinion.
>>735166096Correct.
Dead space 1 was really solid I didnt like the tone shift of 2 I dont like Isaacs quippy remarks it reminded me of Nathan Drake from Uncharted also the last chapters of Dead Space 2 suck
I still don't understand why the first reverse engineered marker was red and good one while blacks were bad ones.
Post them
>>735166096I genuinely believe that they're both perfect games.I should give them a replay. What should my next run be? Limited challenge, or mindless fun?
>>735166096playing the remake rn and it's fucking great indeed
2 was a big, dumb Marvel movie. He even flys around like Iron Man.
>>735166096indeed, it was one of a kind. we'll never have such level of kino again
>>7351660961 was great. 2 was good.Same with Mass Effect.Same with Dragon Age.
>>735171225How do you play through the shitty mine section of dead space 2 and think it's perfect lol
fucked up shit happening on space ships will always be the coolest thing ever
>>735172542I thought most of DS2 was better than DS1, but towards the end when you're fighting off nonstop swarms of necromorphs I did miss the slower pace of the first game.
>>735174527The drill part?On my first playthrough, I enjoyed the banter between Isaac and Ellie and the tense, claustrophobic gauntlet. On my second playthrough, I had played RE4 for the first time and appreciated that the section was a callback to that game.
>play game>an alien appears out of nowhere>think to myself "eh, cute" while i shoot it dead>several jumpscares happen afterwards, feel nothing>suddenly, i take a turn and see the most scary thing i have ever seen, an unisex bathroom sign>i start shaking and crying uncontrollably, almost shat my pants, almost went insane from the shock
>>7351660961 is great with the tight corridors and horror atmosphere. 2 is great with the action horror aspect. I enjoyed them both. Never bothered with 3 since I know EA forced a lot more bullshit into the IP. Never played the remake either nor care for it.
>>735170101Isaac was better as a (nearly) silent protagonist. It made me feel immersed and scared, and I related more to him as just some engineer trying to survive. They made him into a generic action hero which made the second game less scary to me. He’s kind of a smug douche honestly.
Dead Space 1 is, yeah. 2 not so much.
>>735166096ye
>>735177597>Never played the remake either nor care for it.If you enjoy 1 I'd recommend it. It's not a 1:1 replacement as a lot of stuff is changed, but most of it is for the better imo.
>>735166096Just 1. 2 is more of the same shit.
