after 8 months of building up season 3 as being the one they take all the feedback after the disastrous aftermath of season 2 with "Back to Basics" as the main tagline, all they did was was make season 2.5 with all the same problems as before, completely untouched. while the contents of the patch would not be absolutely abhorrent if it was all done during season 2 itself, season 3 was marked as when they'll be able to rebuild trust and goodwill, and they just shattered it instead
