I've been playing tales of arise and lost sword. And I've realized that I'm not having any fun. What should I play instead
A real Tales game>Symphonia or Vesperia for their 1st steps into 3D. Also the last games that had a resource to manage instead of just mashing everything>Graces or Xilia for refinement of 3D>Eternia for a great 2D experience

Arise was remarkably bad. I was downright impressed by how boring the characters, the plot and the gameplay were, it managed to be bad in so many areas.

>>735170446The best part of the game (and what they should've expanded on with more lore) were the bronze, silver, gold knight armors. They were the completion rewards for the higher level dungeons. They also gave small tidbits in their item descriptions about each knight being on a journey to rescue a princess from a tower. The bronze and silver knights failed, but the gold knight eloped with the princess. Honestly, a somewhat contrived (but still absolute ludokino) plot like that would've been 100000000x better than what we got in Arise
