>>735195776I looked up these characters I didn't know when the game came out and Lin Lie actually has some perfectly solid backstory ("lore" as the kids call it now) and the Swordmaster look was cool with the anime scarf. A lot of these newer Asian heroes made for the market are just basically "here's the character and their power and they're here" and that's it, he actually got a story with a purpose and villain and stuff. They've even continued it since he became Iron Fist (some of which was adapted in Season 4 of the game and Daredevil's backstory) but still, seems like Marvel have generally done very little with him after randomly dropping the mantle on him. Baffling decision really. Unnecessary course correction from the crummy Iron Fist show, people didn't shit on comic book Danny, just the lame one in the show.
