The entire point is that even if it matures people don't want it because it changes the entire vision of the game and makes the DLSS version and the non-DLSS version completely different visually. Ultra low settings nowadays look borderline the same to ultra high outside of some minor lighting differences like lower quality shadows, lower model quality, and LoDs because they have to have visual parity with consoles and can't overperform. DLSS 5 fundamentally changes the art style of the game and characters, and will be changing how things look from scene to scene to the point that the main characters won't even look the same because it's just guessing how something is supposed to look when "upgraded".

Run FSR instead because games are now optimized for you using these things. Unless you have expensive cards and are bruteforcing stuff you are forced into this scenario to make stuff run well at all, and the people that do are an extreme minority. In the original the shoe receives tiny bit of reflective light from the table. DLSS5 instead just ditches the already calculated reflected surface rendering and does whatever it wants. Then right next to the foot it does the exact opposite problem of removing most of the shadows from a bar stool, making it look like it floats in mid-air. The shadows get removed from both the top and the bottom but the middle half for some reason still have them.

Thats what level designers do all the time with interiors. Its not like they have to code in the reflection vectors every time they do it, they just place reflective surfaces on meshes in whatever 3D program they're using or UE5. Then they just place light sources and they don't have to think about much else. The funny thing is that DLSS5 takes already simulated light sources produced by 5090 #1 and uses 5090 #2 to ruin them again.
