Personally, I think the site will be fine. The VN community is pretty well gatekept compared to other otaku communities. Even the r/visualnovels subreddit is far better compared to basically every other otaku community on Reddit. One of the top moderators will most likely be who takes over and I'm sure they will uphold the values of the site. Why else would they be a top mod for the site if they didn't believe in it?
