>>735475876what do ya think? This is the final list
Bought these. Thoughts? It's not much but it's honest work. Thinking of buying Inscryption and Mine Mogul, whaddaya think?
Is System Shock remake worth it, or should I just stick to the original?
>>735476179How's minemogul?
>>735475998>Inscryptiongood but its a story game, not a fully fleshed out deckbuilder game so dont go in expecting 500 hours of in depth card gameplay>>735476106its more accessible. OG still worth playing obviously, plus its cheaper
recs for old, cheap essentials appreciated
>>735476283I have no idea but it looks really good and autistic, my kind of game.>>735476339>dont go in expecting 500 hours of in depth card gameplayThis is exactly the reason i want to buy it, i have Monster train 1+2 and Slay the Spire 1+2 and honestly i love card and horror games so this should be a charm for me.
>>735476360Privateer, since you like Wing Commander
Okay lads this is my final cart, how's it looking?
>>735476476Inscryption is a story game like anon said, you're not getting an experience like StS out of it, You could try something like Dream of Corpse Lady, Yao-Guai Hunter, Neoverse, etc for unique card battling games with lots of content. Or if you're extremely autistic Criminal Dissidia.
>>735475998This is at least the tenth time I've seen someone buy Remnant. It's mid as fuck AND there's a No Nonsense Diversity Female Leader character. Refund that dogshit immediately.
>>735477072The leader is a grizzly white guy and you have bad taste in videogamess.
I feel there's nothing worth buying. All I play nowadays is SCPSL and there's no populated multiplayer horror game like it with many players in one match... or is there? And in terms of solo player games I only really have fun with games like Escape Simulator 2 with puzzles and comfy environments, just waiting for DLC for that...I guess Blood of Dawnwalker and Witcher 4 might be cool, but again they're huge time investments that I don't know I can't get into nowadays.Guess I'm just looking for something casual like SCPSL with some spooky atmospheres and groups of people who just mess around.
Any 2D or 3D platformers that have been popping off lately? I'm not really interested in Demon Turf
>>735477305Mario 64 is pretty good
>>735477305>travenantKill yourself
>>735475963Is No Rest good?Fucking mad respect for that studio for both Ori's, but I saw mixed reviews when that game first launched iirc
>>735477305Sanabi?
Hades 2 or FF7 Rebirth?
>>735477425no
>>735477326I've already played every worthwhile one on N64 and PS1, don't be retarded>>735477352Was already on my wishlist so I might give it a go!
What am I in for?
Is Lossless Scaling worth buying? I use Magpie to upscale visual novels and RPG Maker games.
>>735477115I appear to have be misremembering the bitchy diversity foid, Ace Cotterill, with the bitching aged foid with a lesbian haircut, Commander Ford, into one character. Either way, the game is woke dogshit.Speaking of, I saw an Anon in a since archived thread with Tiny Tina's Wonderlands in their cart. As the markiest Borderlands 2 fan on the planet, do not buy that fucking game. Or refund it if you can. I played it for free on Epic store and still regret it. The writing, characters, classes, and guns all suck, with special mention going to the maybe FIVE enemy types. Worse to play (IE Disregarding what it did to every last character in the franchise) than Borderlands 3.
>>735476975Wait, that one got translated?I remember the demo 2 Next Fests ago being full chink while marked as English. How is it?
Anyone played Cloudheim? Is it actually good mankino or is it gay foidslop?
>>735477707>Wait, that one got translated?Well mostly, all the important bits that tell you effects like cards are fine and the dialogue is rough but readable. It's enough that you can understand everything that's happening with occasional testing, but some things are still untranslated. Annoyingly it's the curse from cursed relics when you first pick them up for one example, but you can read the negative effect later in a different menu. Here too, but these effects are the ones tied to the Corpse Lady's cosmetics so you already know what they are before starting a run.>How is it?I think it's really good, kinda like a mix between Slay the Spire and Chrono Ark's character system. The cards on my side are the minions I chose and they have their own effects + attacks per turn, Corpse Lady has control over the hand that functions exactly like StS and her deck is determined by your minion choice. The enemy works with the same mechanics and they're fucking cunts like that asshole turtle.I think the visuals and music are exceptional too, but there's not really a story beyond the Corpse Lady being evil and wanting to corrupt all the people into serving her (which is how you unlock new minions like this fox lady).

Any recommendations for any action roguelike, grinding, or rpg game I can sink a lot of time into?
>>735478446Deadzone: Rogue
>>735478308God damn it, do I have to get the chart? Is this is a game where Men do manly violence and triumph over actual stakes or is it a game where a bunch of foids and nominally male characters that act like the foids yammer at each other and everything has about as much weight as a hardboiled egg fart? Is it Ocarina of Time or buttucking Dungeons of Hinterburg?
>>735477347I played it at launch and didn't really stick with it, only playing about a couple hours before dropping it. Then I learned my cousin had bought it recently and wanted to play, so I picked it up again just to see what had changed. They added multiplayer which I have yet to experience, but I think they tuned the combat a bit to make it a bit less sluggish. The gameplay is very soul-adjacent, but apparently the loot is supposed to be more diablo-like. Your attacks and skills seem to be tied to weapon types, which you'll have to find to use. It also has resource gathering and crafting, but I haven't messed with it too much yet, and I think you're supposed to be able to basically customize your attacks/spells. I'm really not sure how deep the systems are, but it really depends if you like the weighty souls combat.
>>735478615https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCIo4MCO-_U
>>735478446You can grind Borderlands 2 until you go insane (though for no real reason) if you care to, and the Game Of The Year edition is $9. If JRPGs could as RPG (and they shouldn't), Shining Resonance Refrain is a weebcore JRPG with romanceable foids, the kind of real time combat that takes place in a pocket dimension after touching a monster, and shockingly decent for being an anime RPG about an initially weeny protag and a pack of foids. It's $6 right nowTainted Grail is a fine Skyrimlike "western" RPG (IE actual RPG), but $25 doesn't scream "sale," and you've probably already heard about it. Speaking of Skyrim, if you already have it, Enderal is a "mod" that's an entirely new game, and it's free.

>>735475963I only played Sekiro but all the games on this list are at least interdasting, i therefore rate it a 8/backlogged.
>>735480963Wreckfesthaven't tried the second one since it's in early access
>>735480506Do what you want as long as you don’t buy acEVO after they literally walked back on everything they promised for the game. Rally looks really cool though, going to get that once it has more stages.
>>735481121Deep Rock Galactic is a must imo. The ones i didn't mention, i wouldn't recommend.
>>735480506Deep Rock Galactic is pretty fun and a time sink, but I ran out of anything that i cared to grind in 40ish hours. It's otherwise THE SAME THING every time. Tainted Grail is a fine, slightly more autismal Skyrimlike.Grim Dawn is a pretty fun top-down Diablo-action game, but the plot is a bit of a mess that starts with "HOLY SHIT IT'S AN UNDEAD PLAGUE APOCALYPSE WE HAVE TO SALVAGE THIS" and just kinda forgets that point halfway through to kill other problems, to the point the game ending when it did was a surprise to me, it felt like a pre-final boss.Palworld is pointless slop ignore >>735481018. I could never stand the Horizon forzas, I like my actual fucking RACE TRACKS to corner around, and their "seasonal" bullshit only aggravates me further. I'm pretty sure Assetto Corsa doesn't have superior American automobiles, so fuck'em. Haven't played the rest (played the original Modern Warfare, I wouldn't bother unless you really like every CoD multiplayer ever)
>>735481351>>735481547>>735481689Gotcha.Any more personal recommendations? I'm primarily focusing on what has high replayability and is fun to screw around with since I mostly play racing or sandbox-y games, and sometimes hop onto multiplayer to play with few friends.Last I games I've spend time on were TXR and Rimworld, so it got tiresome.
>>735480963If you want to deal with EA Origin's faggotry and possibly having to download a god damn patch MOD in order to get it to run (all stuff I easily found through google, then still had to manually pause my anti-virus to allow the fucking thing to start), Burnout Paradise is a lot like what that looks like, and the Steam version has all the old DLC rolled into it.
>>735477546>Lobotomy CorporationPain. But in a good way.
>>735481909>I'm primarily focusing on what has high replayability and is fun to screw around with since I mostly play racing or sandbox-y gamesDeep Rock Galactic is definitely a game you can always plop into for a 20-30 minute mission, or kill hours with if you want, whenever you want to jump back into it. With friends if you're the kind of fag that has friends (couldn't be me).If you've never played it, Burnout Paradise is a sandbox-y racing game, but I detail here >>735482201 the nuisances trying to get EA's mess to work. And if you can drag your friends though those nuisances, it has online multiplayer where you can either play the actual game modes, do "passive" challenges, or manually initiate timed challenges.

Just explore and do side quests.I don't think I ever really had to grind and a decent stretch of the game had me stream rolling bosses. No random encounters either so good news if you found that tedious in 3.

i've buyed Phoenix Point and i like it so far, its an xcom-like by the guy who made original xcom
>>735486732Both are excellent, but the builds are at the mercy of the RNG (you do end up unlocking rerolls to mitigate this), so while you can get some absolutely OP synergies, most of the time it's a matter of optimizing what you can and being flexible with your playstyle (melee, grenades, run&gun, procs, sniping...) depending on how the run goes.I agree that it's not the most visually impressive of games. Also, I haven't tried the coop.

>>735504427I dropped it after around 8 hours. It's much more of a heist game than a destruction sandbox. Once you trigger the alarm, you only have one minute to achieve every objective and leave the area, so gameplay is mostly a matter of carefully planning a route and then executing it a hundred times until you get it just right. The demolition mechanics factor into it less than one would think. Some people really love it, but personally it just frustrated me to no end
>>735507237This is my issue, at least. I bought all the good deals for games I'm interested in during a small handful of sales years ago. People on 4chan are sad and alone and completely deranged when it comes to their self imposed social rules.
Any games you would recommend with really fun gameplay? Any genre although turn based games bore me after some time. RPGs, FPS, RTS, City Builder, etc. I enjoy them all although specifically am looking for fantasy and magical games rn
>>735517129>Yea people on here associate liking animals to being troons (I imagine furries also but I see it related to troons more for some reason?)I think it's just because of the phrase "tranimals". >>735521369No this is one of the legit key sites. The catch is, you only get those prices if you buy a bundle. And since they are keys, you can't get a refund.Devs are okay with it, because it's mostly indie shit who aren't selling well anyway. Or they use these sites as a promo. what the hell is a "good old game"? this just came out a few years ago
>>735530930Blue Prince pissed me off because I solved a good chunk of the puzzles in ~4 runs and then was up against a brick wall of needing to do that same half-hour of setup over and over looking for the parts to be in a slightly different order. Doesn't mean the game's bad, it's doing some neat stuff, but if it sounds frustrating to have to do the same setup over and over hoping you can put room X next to room Y or find item A before getting to Room Z, I can confirm that it's incredibly frustrating.

Haven't tried the other three yet. I'll likely pick up some more stuff tomorrow because there's at least one game coming out that interests me but I want to see how much it costs.
>>735535218Metal Garden was a pretty great time, that's the new gold standard for all those solo indie short-form game releases. Just punchy and golden all the way through. If the DreadX releases were remotely on that level I'd be shilling them happily.
>>735535397If you want another 2 hour romp through some concrete, Hypogea was a ton of fun. Babbdi was less fun but also free so whatever.
>>735535473I'll give it a real look, thanks anon. Babbdi was a pretty good time, too. Dev's new game looks pretty sick, and more importantly like a functional game.
>>735535120if you're getting fallout 3 get the GoG version, it comes with several Quality of like configuration changes and I think they have the 2gb fix added with it that previously limited how many mods you could use at once. more stable version overall.
>>735531070I could see why that'd be frustrating if you took a break from the game but I actually like the idea of that in theory so far.>>735531327a half hour of setup/repetition doesn't seem too bad in itself but that does seem frustrating. I guess it would depend on how many runs it takes myself to solve the chunk you solved. I doubt I could do it in 4.Since no one's even mentioned Sleepy Man, I think I'll drop that out of my cart.
>>735535545Too late lol, but I'm sure I can prolly get these QoL changes in a mod, right?
Hello I like MechWarrior
Thoughts on the Opus games?
>>735535120i like half life 1 better than 2. New vegas needed like 4 or 5 stability mods to work back in like 2018 when i played it.
I am feeling devilish.
>>735535943I played Half Life 1 like 27 years ago for like a half hour once when I was 9 or 10. I remember you could get sodas out of the vending machines.
>>735535952Vampyr is such a dud, that's Dontnod at their Dontnoddiest, just complete Spiders/Cyanide AA franco ARPG fetch quest and talking head wannabe Bioware junk.
>>735536106not even at 4$?
Thank for posting carts/purchases anons. I always come to these threads. I am a cheapskate. Please give me a reason to drop erenshor.>>735522575Yes Mr. Crimson desert. Did the first 2 missions. Pretty good ngl. Hope more of them go 90% off. Make sure to deselect the multiplayer and spec ops crap in steam dlc section. Otherwise you are going to download 200gb. The campaign is 100gb.
>>735535551The puzzle that filtered me looks like a complete clusterfuck, very intimidating. Many people give up around that puzzle. So just push through and experiment, it isn't bad at all if you can isolate the subproblems.
>>735536178At 90% off Slain/Valfaris is probably fine for both of them but I found both to be full of bullshit high lethality and shitty (also usually lethal) platforming. Know what you're getting into.
>>735536156Some games aren't worth time, let alone money. I guess it's not unplayable, just be prepared to be absolutely underwhelmed and slightly bored the entire time like it's a hidden Technomancer sequel.
>>735536298Ok I removed it. I am not that good at 2d combat games. Thank you.
>>735536178Slain is pretty basic but punishing. Valfaris is much better since you have more options. I died like 400 times the first playthrough but eventually did it deathless. If you like punishing platformers you can play Volgarr the Viking.
>>735535952https://store.steampowered.com/app/889910/Hell_Pie/Good but disgusting 3D platformer.
>>735535120Just play the singleplayer stuff if you're new to PC. For Half Life I really enjoyed Opposing Force, but think Blue Shift is fairly weak. If you want more Half Life you also missed the mod end which you might want to consider after playing the series.>3D FalloutsPlay both and if you really want to shitpost about them you'll know how to bait both sides of poster on /v/ after playing them. Both games you may want to check for performance stuff for, but you have to make sure you're grabbing up to date stuff. If you're curious about the isometrics then they will be harder to get into if you didn't play the CRPGs of that time, but if you can get past the early reaction you may enjoy them
>>735536570Why'd they decide to be so nasty. Who wanted that. At least Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom is just unfunny.
>>735536523>If you like punishing platformers you can play Volgarr the VikingI will add it to my cart because its 25hy, unlike 100hy valfaris . But I suck at 2d combat games so I suspect I will get filtered.
>>735536753I've already played the 3D fallouts, I bought them on steam so I could do ToTW and enjoy mods. Plus I think Fallout 3 is generally better than New Vegas, and with some weapon mods + iron sights + the cooking shit from New Vegas it will be straight up a superior experience in my opinion. Don't give a fuck about the writing, only care about the atmosphere.
>>735536817>TTWOnly note I have to give then is that the balancing can be goofy. Modify it if it starts to bother you.
>>735536947Yeah I figured it would kind of be imbalanced. If you can make it to where you lose at least 50% of your skills when taking your character to New Vegas (due to getting shot in the head), I'll be more than happy.
Is Division 2 worth it, or do I need to deal with Ubisoft launcher?
>>735537072game is pretty but the gameplay is extremely boring. i recommend destiny 2 only when the expansions go 70-90% off.
>>735537072no, idk it feels so generic, lacks in identity and soul. you can't really make a cool dude in the game's character creator, and you certainly can't make a hot bitch either, it's not even worth installing. You just walk around as a freak in cosmetics or ugly clothes and shoot shit with 5/10 gun play. there's nothing really going for it at all.
>>735483443Don't buy Tangy, the dev is a crybaby faggot
>>735538228Story? I was gonna buy it.
>>735538316Nothing, Anon is just being a faggot. He just posted his reaction being all thankful and shedding tears.
>>735538359>He just posted his reaction being all thankful and shedding tears.I gotta see this
>>735538380it was a reaction of him opening his steam revenue page and seeing he made around 200k usd after 4 years of work. he wasn't really doing a youtube reaction video. im happy for him.
>>735538614Where do I go to see it?
>>735527740Silksong is legitimately great but the beginning plays more like Hollow Knight so keep that in mindafter the start though its legitimately a masterclass and I'm very happy team cherry actually got good
>>735538652https://clips.twitch.tv/ConfidentFurrySashimiOhMyDog-cEtrMi5YDIB_CkUd had to dig a bit.
>>735539620Thanks
>>735539593I'm still kind of in shock that the game even exists, let alone that it was good enough to be worth damn near a decade of shitposting and memes.
Is Star Wars Jedi Survivors worth it?
Anything I should get? Anything I should skip entirely?
>>735540840Tormented Souls is neat, as is Withering Rooms. I didn't care for Mouthwashing.
>>735540840diablo2 isnt even on sale
>>735540840Slitterhead swung wildly back and forth between doing incredibly cool shit and being a really bad Asian soap opera with essentially no pattern, and despite liking the game and being interested I gave it up when they kept adding more and more characters instead of exploring what was already there. My understanding is Siren had similar problems with pacing/structure. Also there's only one or two bosses and you fight them over and over and over. Every fucking mission is the same praying mantis.
I know it might be hard to get an objective answer to this but might as well ask: is any of the Final Fantasy VII remake things worth playing? I have already accepted that they are not actually a remake and that the gameplay is different, but which one(s) if any are cool for what they are?
>>735540743I'd say so. I played it on gamepass but even as someone who is so-so on Star Wars the writing was good and the setting was neat. Fun to hit people with a lightsaber, fun to throw shit with the force. Platforming was a bit scuffed but eventually you get an airdash that makes it suck a lot less. The second game is "better" in a lot of ways but the characters lose basically all of their charm.
whats the deal with this toad game? is it just some forced meme
>>735537072Honestly get Division 1 and grab the survival dlc.
>>735541223made by an anon, solid puzzle game with a unique cadence, people like fairies don't overthink it
>>735513318Absolute dogshit slop cancer to indy gamesWeebslopChoreslopActually fully based if you don't install fucking Halo 4Good, but even $16 might be a little much in 2026One of the GOATsI can't even find this through Steam's search

>>735541654You got punked, you silly goof.
>>735515534>Korean teenage girlkill yourself leftist anti-White shitgook diversity faggot
>>735515689Is Reaper not what you need? If you mean sound effects rather than soundtrack, perhaps some AI (luddites kill yourselves) can do it, or look up copyright free/paid sound effect banks. Beyond that, I don't know of any option by holding a microphone up to whatever you've juryrigged to produce the sound you want IRL.
>>735515358Letting peasants influence tags was a catastrophic mistake
is this worth it if I'm bored and just want to play the movies again?https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/47321/
Here is mine.
>>735524632This is why every video game MUST have a single player mode worth the purchase price or it's gay shitslop
>>735535894Played Echo of Starsong. I mostly liked it but the ending was kinda unsatisfying.
>>735542368Thanks for the card sucker
>>735535120>>735536817As a filthy Bethslopsda consolefag, perhaps you'd like Skyrim and Enderal, the "total conversion mod" for Skyrim that's free on Steam, effectively Skyrim but a whole different game.
>>735542667Not interested in Skyrim (or Oblivion) again for a very, very long time.
>>735508798refund he is coming, worst roguelite I have ever played. you are completely at the mercy of rng to get a build going. skill influence is limited. expect to win once per 6-8 runs at best.
>>735544034So every roguelike/roguelite
>>735544108isaac, ETG, noita are very skill based and allow winstreaks rather easily. roguelites are meant to be more casual so I consider those whose rng forces losses to be low quality.
>>735533701they straight up stole this from ufo50 lol
>>735475876Anyone got any good VN recomendations for the sale?

Anybody have any recommendations for a good dungeon crawler/blobber/DRPG? Preferably one that can make use of a controller so I can play via Steam Deck.
>>735550241I'd recommend Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk, but it's not on sale (prolly waiting for golden week), so go for picrel instead.
Recommend me some good boomer shooters.
>>735550241Etrian Odyssey 3 or Labyrinth of Touhou Tri.

>>735531295unc
I hope there's no NTR in it.
Is KCD Royal worth buying? Not a fan of the saving system and I'm not sure I'd like the combat either, but who knows.
>>735554905you can always mod in the normal saving, dont let internet pressure you into "git gud" or some other shit. also combat is hit or miss, personally I dont like it but some people love it. atmoshpere is goat though and worth playing for
>>735552135Anyone?
>>735475876oh look, another thread filled with morons increasing their backlog by another year
>>735554905It's better than the second one. There are mods to save anywhere without the need for Schnapps and to improve the combat by lowering the enemy master-stroke frequency, allowing you to fight less passively.
>>735554905the combat is no fun at all but you can avoid most of iti think i killed like 10 people in my 40h playthrough
>>735555289>>735555430Do mods still work? The game has been updated recently, so I'm not sure if mods would need to be updated too.>>735555485>you can avoid most of itI'd rather not buy it at all than do that.
>>735555654I think only consoles were updated, pc should be moddable
>>735555768The PC version got the update too.
>>735545731Marco and the galaxy dragon
>>735555654the game really has very little combat unless you go out of your way to go bandit hunting, it's very groundedthat said it has tons of other mechanics that are annoying other than combatit's like playing skyrim with every realism mod ever installed at the same time
>>735486021Tactics Ogre, no doubt

How's this?
>>735557317The Dark Heart of Uukrul
>>735559039pampas is pretty sweet
>>735496768Hourglass if you like the temporal clone mechanic from Talos. The main difference is that the recording only lasts a short time which is the main obstacle you need to overcome in the puzzles.Everything else about the game (story, graphics) is very basic, so only play it if you only care about the puzzles.Apparently their other game Tobla is good too, but I have yet to play it. They're both really cheap and there's a bundle.
>>735559039Lucid Blocks has trans representation in it
>>735559039>This item is available at a lower price as part of Super Neo-Retro Bundle. Are you really going to spend 0,54€ just to not have Slam and Roll in your library?
