In that vain, it's very much a normal boss design ethos to give you an explicit damage window as reward for using the game's mechanicsThey probably could have done away with the team wipe-strength damage and just stun your team for 10 seconds because that's basically a reset anyway since you'll be missing an entire window to deal any actual damage.It's actually kind of nice how there's basically zero randomness. His pattern is fixed, your team gets so much +crit rate that you can't mald over it. The only RNG comes down to stability and that's largely irrelevant due to the large numbers involved with each damage window. Only thing that's unpleasant is that building 2 entire teams worth of characters for a single raid is not going to be super affordable. Sure there are some mainstay DPS and support staples that will probably already be invested into, but even just rabu+suzumi+reisa together is gonna be too much trinity mats in demand at the same time unless you have a massive stockpile that didn't get nuked by trinity fest.

Geburah is way more restricting, pre-nefr Goz is way more random and punishing, Greg and ShiroKuro require tight timing and precise execution, or everything goes to shit. Yesod is just simon says in phase 1 and borrow mSuzumi+use welfares in phase 2. Yesod wasn't that bad. The first phase was actually really easy to understand and play compared to other raids. The second phase is still a mystery to me because I just went in raw at 3AM with all 6 tickets, failing extreme on the first phase because I lacked the damage to break the lanterns. I could have reorganized my team to get a clear but I just wanted to enjoy the fight and accept my retardation.
