As for everybody else: Even if they win, they literally get nothing out of it. If they kill reimu, they most likely just doomed Gensokyo. The human characters are just humans. They aren't even actually good at dodging actual bullets, a fucking gun would most likely kill Reimu or Marisa very easily. As for Youkai, a case can be made that them being tough to kill would make it difficult to actually put one down. But, again, they are spiritually pathetic.
