Even if the source was completely transparent and trustworthy, there would be good and rational reasons to not use an HV crack.
Hypervisor only protects against viruses that try to take over your OS or install rootkits. Something that the CIA would try to install on your PC, or a Chinese hacker group specifically targeting your company for industrial espionage/ransom (and they have a backdoor anyway).The kind of virus that 99% of you faggots fall for, like credit card stealers, keyloggers, ransom trojans and so on don't need kernel level access and don't give a fuck about hypervisors.
