>>
It's the shut-in millennials that worship this meme. Your world is shaped by them.

Beaches were just the symptom of the optimism for the future and enthusiasm for games bursting out of every facet and pixel, you can't just plop down a beach in a soulless new game and expect it to feel the same
>>

>>
modern engines are terrified of transparency so you'll never get high def beach games again
>>
Social media tourists ruined beaches
>>

Indians*
>>
>>735598705
Damn those are some white indians
>>
>>735598664
yeah beaches were never packed to the gills with summer tourists before smartphones, you pearl clutching faggot
>>
>>735598880
Found the social media tourist
>>

t. came here from twitter and won't leave

because beach environments were an easy way to hide invisible walls and make the game feel much bigger than it really was with the hardware limitations they had
>>
>>735598880
Sure, but smartphones change the entire experience. The people there now obviously aren't there to have fun, they can't because if they do, their $1000 society mandated surveillance vanity device will get wet or stolen. They're there to take selfies that they can put on their Instagram.
>>
>>735598962
Well you should go back
>>
>>735599180
Plus they can google "best beaches" and get step by step directions to the beach over the internet
>>
>I just love the hustle and bustle of the big beach

>There's an old Chinese saying that goes: A beautiful heart makes for beautiful hands. What it means, Snake, is that how you feel and think affects how you work. Try to think positive! It might just help you with the mission!

He talked but didn’t post any drawing.
It’s over

I wonder why games had beaches it isn't like tech improved and the goal for a lot of devs of creating a more believable world didn't match up.
Water is a natural barrier so people don't balk at it like they do with invisible walls.

This is just Hauntology

>>735596734
>>735597106
Yeah...

I grew up in South Florida and I'm honestly kind of tired of the beach

Do zoomers really whine about millennials this much or are these divide and conquer threads?
>>
>>735598664

All things games in the 90s struggled with.
Tropical beaches hit a lot of those when you're going to try and impress audiences with your graphical jumps.
Its like how 10s games focused on stuff like hair or environmental particles (stuff earlier gens had hard times with). Or how 20s games have focused on facial animations.

I dunno. Its weird they seem to talk about us a lot but I never thought about gen x for a fucking second.
>>
>>735601873
Millennials just thought anyone older than themselves was a babyboomer.
>>
>>735601918
Don't tell me what i thought. I also didn't think about boomers for a second until they started whining about avocado toast 24 7 and blaming me for chili's dying.
>>
>>735601956
I will tell you what you thought because I know you better than you know yourself.
>>
>>735601918
No that's zoomers.
Literally every zoomer calls anybody older than them a boomer.
Millennials live rent free in zoomers' minds.
>>
>>735602025
I am completely self actualized, so no you don't.
>>
>>735602065
>you're still telling yourself that
We both know better.
>>
>>735602128
No, im telling you that because I know it the way I know the sun will rise.
