If the symbol in pic represents Akatosh's covenant with the Septim bloodline then should it no longer be used for any future games since IV since the Septim bloodline is extinguished? Skyrim using a cracked symbol made thematic sense but it's already pushing it. How does that work for branding for Bethesda moving forward into VI?
Yes, this will be the symbol of the Redguard resistance to the Thalmor in Hammerfell, get used to seeing it from now on.
>>735605701Is it actually confirmed to be in Hammerfell?
>>735605803All we know for sure is the peripheral concept artists have put out material that indicates they're taking inspiration from the ancient near east and islamic world; which in Tamriel means Hammerfell since Yokuda sank into the ocean. Possibly High Rock and the Bretons as well.
>>735605903Could just be in the Iliac Bay, which is meant to be the Mediterranean anyways. Would be such a waste if there was no ship-to-ship combat.
>>735606127Yeah sure we REALLY need gamebryo Sea of Thieves to be a thing
>>735605608Imperial propaganda is meant to last forever, not just in the moment it's conceived. They want to maintain that there are but eight Divines, with the One Who Rules Time as the head of the Alyssian pantheon. The Covenant began with Alyssia, not Tiber Septim, and was for All-Time, not part of it. The Imperials can not ever admit that they broke the Covenant, which the WGC was explicitly designed to do by the more metaphysically-minded Thalmor.
