>>735606126Most of the new remakes aren't really the old original game either. They're an updated version of the core gameplay and formula anyways. Something that people ask from a sequel anyways. Not to mention also often doing a lot of updates to the structure of the game, the formula of its boss battles, the layout of the levels, etc. etc.They're basically new games, but stop short by reusing the original setting and story while also limiting how much wholly new things they're willing to add. I don't see how the average g*mer doesn't realize how insulting and exploitative it all is.
