Why was Itsuno fucking alergic to New Game+ and proper balancing for the dogma games. One of the most fun things about DMC is replaying the games with all your weapons on higher difficulties. On BOTH DD1 and 2, new game+ doesn't balance anything, so one shotting enemies on new runs is fucking braindead. The "Hard mode" only increases the damage YOU take, not the damage you dish out, so it also literally pointless. At least Bitterblack sort of gave a reason to keep playing and getting better gear, at least once you run it twice. Hopefully whoever is in charge now can make DD2 better not just with a BBI equivalent, but also making the base game worthwhile on replays.

It's obviously a fake 'leak', there's no way in hell Crapcom managed to get Dragon's Dogma running on the Switch 2. While the Switch 2 has a more powerful GPU, the Steamdecks CPU is more than two and a half times more powerful and it get's like 10-20fps.

Even with x4 framegen, if the Switch can do that, you're looking at at maybe 25 (fake) frames per second, with responsiveness that 4-8fps gets you. And that's being generous.

Capcom's own post is real though.

I think it's just something that poeple who never played the original hear and then parrot. It's right that it sucked on release, but that's because it run at 25fps and had a letterbox aspect ratio because consoles couldn't render it at 720p. And the ironic part it that DDDA had the EXACT SAME PROBLEMS when it first released.
