5 suffers from a lack of focus.You just jump from location to location and character to character with the only vague overarching thread being some link to experiments and The Prototype, but even that isn't very strong or compelling. It really should've just been Lily, the conditioning and the chapter should've been about fleshing that concept out and exploring the horrors that it entailed. But they forced it to also share time with the wrong side out idea and The Prototype's own experiments, and as such neither concept gets the attention they need to be effective.

Lily is the easiest character to add to Chapter 6, even if her death was originally supposed to be permanent. If you want her to be a villain again, then you just have to stick with what It was said about hair growing even after death, and if you want to make her an ally of the Player, then it’s easy—just put her in a situation where she’s about to die and we save her for some reason. Lily is so starved for affection that she’d surely join us if she thinks we want to be her friends.

>>735857346It's hilarious that they thought Giblet and Chum of all characters were going to be the fan favorites. If you think about it, this is Giblet's chapter like how 4 was Doey's chapter. He's the wrong side out guy and gets easily the most screentime of the new characters, but he's a fucking awful character and probably only made Lily more attractive as a returning character so we could get away from him.
