Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream datamined to *probably* only have a maximum of 70 Miis per save file. Here's why I don't think that really mattersWe're having a discussion on this right now in the modding discord, so I thought I'd get ahead of the topic since this is a *downgrade* from the original Tomodachi Life, etc. As a disclaimer, this is only assumed based on how many blank Mii Slots are available in the save data. This could be wrong or change in the full release.0. The lack of easy online sharing means people are on average gonna be adding less Miis to their game anyways. Unfortunate but I don't think this is a radical thing to say.1. The way Miis live in this game is completely different from Tomodachi Life 3DS. In the 3DS game, there could only be a limited # of things going on at a time. For example if you had 50 or so miis maybe like ~10 or so would have issues that need solving etc. A few of the locations on the island would probably have something going on, with 2-4 Miis participating per area. So you were kinda incentivized to have more miis to make more go on! In Living the Dream, though, Miis now have the ability to roam the island, interact with Miis and areas on their own, etc. Making them much more active and varied. I think this one speaks for itself and goes into my next points.2. This is a Switch 1 game. Having potentially 70 Miis active at once would tank the performance. "But you could have more on the 3DS?", but again, 90% of Miis were confined to their apartments/homes at all times and not actually active unless you were looking at them. In Living the Dream, most of your islanders can be actively roaming the island and loaded in participating in something. For what its worth I think this being a Switch 1 game is a VERY good thing, as a lot of people can't afford a Switch 2

Making miis is boring.This whole "game" is just a mii maker, there is literally nothing else interesting to do unless you really enjoy feeding and clothing miis. Just putting an actual honest opinion out there because I'm tired of seeing people praising nu nintendo for putting forth the most minimal of effort in their newer games.
