Because he's literally presented as a walking punchline. He's a black patriotic Scotsman with only a single eye who either flings bombs around or charges at people with a sword, all while drunk as balls. He also gets forced by his mother to do all kinds of jobs, his best friend is a haunted sword and every year a wizard turns his eye into a monster all the mercs have to fight. And aside from all that, he's cool and a likeable character.Do you think any of the characters made for "diversity" are intended to be jokes? Even when making them look stupid as hell faggot devs think they're making "cool" characters that will make modern audiences go "wow, this is literally me"
