xenogears has been re-released.disc rot is more an issue for shittier cheaper CDs, CD-Rs particularly, or people who store their discs in poor conditions. I've gotten first run sony CDs from the 80s that still run just fine, and some cd-rs from the early 2000s when I was burning my own songs that are disc rotted to fuck.
