Playing Pokopia had me starting to draft an idea about a danganronpa-themed pokemon game, for laughs. Each type would be a SHSL/Ultimate, for a total of 18 students. They would also maybe have a silly talent on top of their type. Still hesitating whether it should focus on 1st/2nd stage evos that look "young" like in mystery dungeon, or if I can include 3rd stage evos or even legendaries among the protagonists. The idea would be to have one death game per generation, but there could be some mixups. It's only a draft/shitpost idea but I'm struggling to come up with the pokemon who's supposed to be the monokuma stand-in. I thought of:>black and white VOLTORB (monotorb?)>black and white MIMIKYU (mimikyuma)>one of the countless bear pokemon>pikachu>a human trainer in a black and white costume (like the DISTRUST prototype) I've had random ideas and concepts like:>having PLUSLE and MINUSLE be twins and the obligatory chap 3 killer (double murder gimmick but instead of two victims it's two culprits)>protagonist has to be a 1st stage normal pokemon that can learn metronome or have a luck based ability>SLOWPOKE would be silent and say nothing for most of the trial(s) he/she took part in, but randomly point out some major forgotten detail or contradiction near the end that they wanted to highlight early on to help the MC nail down the culprit (who should already have been identified)>helper waifu (kirigiri, chiaki) would have to be psychic type>ghost type blackened who thought they could escape the facility with no consequence facing the reality that they can be erased/killedThe basic plot would be trainers leaving their pokemon into a high-end daycare center but it would be hijacked for casting the death game. No idea how to make the setting make sense like why couldn't anyone come and save the trapped pokemon though
