I hate when games leave the endless post ending world for you to explore and 100% it. Everything feels empty, the story is done every one is gone, why hang around the ship anyway.Finish the story and lock the game, leave everything that you built for other players, it could be implemented with a line saying "your journey is done, but you're not gone you live on in this world by Mark you left on it and it's people, your actions will help future porters" and don't know some gay shit. 10/10 game, Charlie is a diva.
Almost built and fully upgraded all infrastructure up to East Knot. Just gotta Level 3 upgrade the mine above the Northern Observatory, then I'll have the ceramics to finish the roads.Just a constant loop of farm BTs for chiral gems, mine alloys/resins/metals, transport via carriers/monorail/trucks.Once I get the last of the roads done I'm gonna take on all the new orders I have from everyone it seems. One thing I didn't realize until later was that its a good idea to keep the Magellan stocked on materials.95 hours inOne thing I will say is that i've never been caught in a sandstorm outside of that one main mission to the weapons factory. I'm guessing the game will have them spawn for certain orders, just rare to see them around the map.Thought my game was glitching a few times until i read that entry about the train in the sky, i actually thought it was monorail cars just loading too high lmao
>>735959074I guess theres the endless job of delivering all that shared locker lost cargo
Were Chlorobiotes in the first game i forget, they're soo useful for cutting umbilical cords on golden gazersAnother mechanic i had no idea about until hours in is the skip movement from pressing X/A while you're holding your backpackif that was in the first game i definently never noticed or even pressed it by accident god damn, it even works going downhill
I thought for sure that we were going to find out that Charlie was Diehardman, but that Diehardman had his arms and legs cut off to prevent him from impeding the new president's agenda. Because the Charlie manequin in the ship doesn't have arms or legs. And also maybe they couldn't kill Diehardman for some reason, given his name. Would have been a cool mission to have to transport Diehardman's torso back to the Magellan. Maybe that could be something for DS3. Loumorrow has to save her dad who had his arms and legs cut off by Higgs' son, Boson.
>>735957542Not at all.Im doing my very first playthrough on "to the wilder", which is supposed to be the ultra hard difficulty and the game is still a cakewalk.
>>735958232Will never ever play that shit due to their bot marketing
>>735960037The only hard part for me on TTW was the bosses. I only played TTW so I don't know how it compares to the easier difficultlies, but I'm just assuming they cranked up the health pool a ton. It's pretty tedious whittling away at their health. Doing a second playthrough on TTW would be easy as shit though cause now I know where all the bosses are. Half the fun for me anyway is not always knowing what's around the corner, and having to try to prepare accordingly. Maybe I need a rocket launcher, maybe not.

Seeking honest answers. I fell off DS1 at the first incinerator part. Should I go back and power through it? How long after does it take before the game opens up and becomes more free roam?

>>735961475In chapter 2 (or 3) you gonna get more toys and the world becomes more open. The early chapters keep you trapped in a lame tutorial area and you basically do everything by foot. A little tedious. The main takeaway is to just do story missions and ignore all the subquests. The latter can still be done later.

>>735962121He spoke to from the beach as i played the post game.
>board or alight vehicle>cargo teleportsThey need to fix this
So the whole courier thing seems great but how bad are the cutscenes and dialogue in this part? Do I have to sit through hours of cutscenes and dialogue to get to gameplay or is there somewhat more healthy balance this time
>>735962226Not him, but you should do subquests anyway to level up preppers and get items. DS1 is extremely easy to do that with since you can load up orders on the way to the main story mission areas and as long as you understand the traversal and weight limits, you're basically going to A->B with other preppers/side-orders on the way there anyway, so you might as well veer off a little bit to drop off/grab things going in the direction you're going anyway.DS2 has less orders like this until you push forward (I've found) which can make this approach a bit more annoying because you're only getting 2-3 orders every six hours (with the skills) until later in the game where you'll get about 6-10 orders going to where you want (in reverse).
>>735962550I just found the pacing to be extremely sluggish, and I hated how you were more or less funneled into the BT's with very few options to avoid them in the beginning. I genuinely don't want to have to deal with that again for a prolonged period of time; that's exactly why I dropped off it in the first place.

I love just fucking around doing whatever I want
>>735961667>getting up there requires glitching yourself onto the other side of the invisible wallI hate you so much, niggerjima
Bola Stun Gun lets fucking go
>>735962701>I just found the pacing to be extremely sluggish,The series/IP is a marathon, not a sprint. You're here for the journey, not the destination. If you keep at it (and as the other anon says, the game DOES open up and gives you tools to make things extremely easier), the game rewards you with tools that make the whole "slog" trivial.Once you unlock trucks or the bike (the bike is like the 5th prepper, IIRC? In the opening area?), the game starts to go easy mode, and then when you get ziplines you become a god because the BT areas (which don't change, so you know where you're hitting/avoiding) becomes trivial because if you set up Ziplines going through BT areas, you basically laugh as the game "slows down"/notifys you stylistically, and then proceeds to zoom past with no BT's grabbing you off the zipline.Keep at it, basically. The game does reward you.
>>735962549The cutscenes are notably shorter than in the first game and especially MGS4
>>735962226Don't completely ignore the suborders and regular orders. Do them to unlock new equipment that YOU WILL NEED later on.
>>735962978Didn't beat the game.

>>735966096Jesus christ Dollman was especially egregious in that mission with the talking. Was Norman Reedus paid by the syllable or something? I know he hasn't talked much at all in the past two games, but it's like they Kojima used Dollman as a substitute for Reedus to keep costs down. I swear Dollman has like a hundred times as much dialogue as Sam, it's ridiculous.

How does this economy work in the post Death Stranding world? I had this question pop into my head while trying to get the chiral figurines for the impossible faggots. I was thinking to myself as I cleared out the BTs in the warehouse, do these guys have a job or something? No? Is it a like based economy? I don't know how much chiral figurines cost, plus delivery, plus tip. But surely these two jackasses couldn't possibly have the funds necessary to buy 4 fragile figurines to be delivered to a remote location.

>>735968095because tomorrow was gone and youre the only other human nigga there?
>>735968694But the weather always seems relatively normal when he does it, like light rain.>>735968682There isn't one, this is a post-scarcity society, it's the federation from star trek but in a post-apocalyptic world. This is all made pretty clear in the first one. If people want something, they fabricate it from a chiral printer, and their biggest sociological problems are the mental health issues caused by isolation and having to live in bunkers. People just do what they want and contribute with whatever skills they have because they want something to do. The only reason they even have porters is because deliveries are more meaningful to the people getting them when a human does it instead of a robot.
>>735968095Because DS2 is just DS1, down to the finnale and story.
>>735969245I thought you were talking about Neil.
>>735968275They specifically asked lockne to make the new qpid, then diehardman had her sabotage it secretly
>>735968095He hates you because Lucy choose Sam after she got pregnant, and that hate fucked his mind, which if you remember also fucked Cliff's mind making him forget everything. Both of their hatred and violent lives led them to attack you first rather than trying to communicate. Cliff was angry and wanted his BB back, which he thought was BB28/Lou and Neil was angry at You and wanted to protect Lou, and saw you as a threat.Only after you defeat them for the final time they come to their senses, Cliff recognizes you being BB and Neil recognizes you as Sam, father of BB/Lou.Personally, I liked Cliff better. Neil and Sam are interchangeable cucks. But Sam is highly autistic so I can tolerate him.
>>735967761why did kojima make him so zesty
>>735969683I mean, if you knew you had won and there was nothing your enemy could do to fight back, wouldn't you clown on him too in the most retarded and obnoxious way possible?
>>735968275>>735969539This reminds me, what was up with the Q-pid sabatoge in the first game? When you get to Mama (IIRC) she points it out, and for the next chapter she's fixing it. Then you're told it's fixed and it never comes up again. What was wrong with it? What was it supposed to do 'wrong'? Who sabotaged it? (Presumably Bridget or Amalee, but it's never stated.)
>>735970151In the first game she states that the strong the chiral network gets the more unstable it became due to some early stage manufacturing error. Which could cause BTs to start crawling out the ass everywhere. They kept it in the dark because having the network online was far more beneficial than any potential fuckup if an accident happened. Later on it's fixed so it's never brought up again.Amelie wanted everyone linked because it would facilitate bringing the last stranding into our world and causing the six extinction. She set Higgs into motion to sorta push everyone into rushing west fast, by giving UCA a motivation. (the second game outright tells you that), so she arms him and gives him most of his powers.Later she regrets its and fucks off to her own beach, locking herself away and the last stranding, somewhat delaying the inevitable.
>>735970560How did he regain his powers in 2 anyway ? Amelie cucked him out of them and there's no explanation to it or I missed it
>>735970560So the Q-pid problem in the first game wasn't some sinister sabotage plan, but just an accidental error and excuse to take BB away from you for a bit?
>>735970659He's dead, died in the beach you leave at the end of DS1, and the FOUR THOUSAND KEKS bring him back and give his powers back to use him again as bait.>>735970685Essentially yea, a fart in the wind to make you loose the trail for a bit.
>>735970919How would he die on a beach? Doesn't time not really pass there? We know Fragile didn't shoot him because he sends you emails from the beach he's trapped on in the post-game.
>>735970919>died in the beach you leave at the end of DS1How ? Fragile didn't kill him and didn't leave him the gun in case he wanted to off himself
>>735971331>>735971227That isn't explained more implied, she walks away carrying a rifle and a bag after handing Lou back to Sam, so she might have come back to Higgs and dropped the weapon near him. Or jumped out and left the gun behind.
omg theyre all here
>>735972004What's the deal with the Irish woman and her two goons? Do they just spit roast her all day whenever they're not receiving orders?

>>735972372they're the band CHVRCHES so yes
>>735972372Only one tram can go in the tunnel at a time, unless you go south and run the risk of getting a chiralpedion
>>735972001I supposed Higgs could have killed himself sometime in the eternity after sending those emails, but he's definitely not dead after the gunshot you hear in that scene, cause he's contacting you from that beach.
>>735968319The skeletons torture him in each scene, he takes control of his fate and takes control of his executioners. It's the best i got.
>>735968438Oh shit, that's what that is? I saw it from really far away, looked at it on my map and said "Oh cool, that's probably the next gate forming." Guess I gave too much credit to Kojima.Has anybody tried passing under it yet? I only just got the Dowser online so I don't have any tools for traveling over tar, but surely the game gives you something for that later?
>>735973162yes you get a sweet fricking skateboard that can go over tar, but it requires network coverage so if that gate isn't in the network you can't get to it
>Love using the floating carrier as a skateboard>90% of the time I'll lose control and smash into a wall or something or the carrier behind me just flies into a wall at mach speedI never learn yet I can't help myself from doing it again.
>>735969245I , like him. Yes he spits out tutorials, he also spits out stories and good vibes. Better Dollman than text prompts. His demeanor as a friend works in the writing, in the acting and his animations are plain fun to looks at. Let Dollman stay.I like Dollman infinitely better than i ever did BB.
>>735972969He's a reluctant warrior, he didn't want to smuggle people around. Every fight he's dragged into it by the skeleton which could be a stand in for the government that forces him to move people around, wherein Mads leads them, since he was a captain/leader of a squad, so he shows up first and summons his squad.
>>735966572Kojima did the same thing with Snake & Miller in MGSV. I think he just likes his silent, stoic protagonists and would rather use a side character to deliver exposition.

>>735968682The setting has perfect material recycling and wonder power-gen tech. Service is left as the only valuable commodity.I imagine their economy is purely based on contribution to society being traded for good feels because good feels do feature on the pyramid of needs.Witness our modern world and how many people complain of despair from a lack of meaning in their lives: these people eat once a day and are never cold.In post-scarcity, status or recognition could be a function of how much one can motivate others and become trusted, even maybe using trickery. IRL this would turn everyone into a politician being overly conscious of their public image while deceiving for Likes (cheaters always win a fair game). Death Stranding erases humanity's darker nature by putting it in a dire situation though to be fair, nothing unites the people like a common enemy so DS's "nice world" isn't so far fetched.

Age doesn't destroy inanimate objects, erosion does. This implies that timefall also somehow simulates the effects of erosion. Timefall apparently loses all of its effectiveness after the moment it touches anything, including the ground. The ground can't be immune to effects of timefall, or else they'd just be building all of their rooves out of any number of types of tile. So why aren't rivers constantly shifting? Why aren't new canyons being made? Why aren't rocks crumbling?

Fragile didn't have such a think French accent in DS1 either and all the new characters have heavy accents, though I guess it makes sense for the Mexicans to sound Mexican and the Australians to sound Australian.
>>735989707Because you can get that stuff out. If the DHV Magellan can't move right now, finish part of the story until it can, then zip around (without any cargo to deliver on you so you don't get hit with a like penalty for this) and pick them up from your various places, put them in the DHV private storage and you're golden for building the roads.Make sure to condense same-type down with auto-sort by putting it on your back before putting it in storage. It's tedious, but doable.

>>735990594>Where am I supposed to get that much crystals?Animal Sanctuary and The Architech both have (fake/minor spoilers)gold chiral blobs/creatures next to them. They spawn where you find them (you can look this up if you want, but wandering around the area and seeing them at night is pretty easy), fabricate a grenade pistol and auto-equip it. If you hold breath and get close to them you can tag 2-3 with a quick tap-tap on the grenade pistol (to stop their splits from leaving/fleeing) and get a cool 1,500-5,000 chirals off them. It's more than enough to cover the mines.I think late game also has an area, but these two are the most common cited areas.Once you get enough chirals (I'm sitting on like 60,000+ just doing those while delivering to those areas and picking up the hands as I go along, tedious but...) you're golden because the 1,600 mine costs on the bigger mines give out 30,000-60,000 (upgraded, IIRC) resources which is way more beneficial than doing the preppers.

I've seen other anons say they haven't seen anything either. Is it bugged ?
>>735992405Basically to ruin your immersion and annoy you. It's fucking stupid.
>>736001145he has awesomephobsamphobia
>>735999896No, human ka returning to it's corpse causes a voidout and is what spawned BTs in the first place.
>jump off cliff in truck to get down quick>get stuck >go off jump really slowly>hit side off cliff fine because of chiral shenanigans>keep falling down to the ground>truck explodes>cargo smashed
>>736002098I saw most of these except for the nightmares, birthday scene, and the horror story with dollman. I wonder what triggers that. It's missing a nightmare that I saw where dollman screams the horizon dreamer song at you
>>736002830Some Anons' on here:>Truck goes everywhere, tho!
>>736002964Yes they do.>flip off mountain slope>crash and die

>>736002964it do
I feel like I kinda robbed myself by doing my first playthrough on TTW. I expected it to be like DS1 very hard, I didn't think it would turn every love tap from bosses into one shots. I ended up being frustrated for a lot of the story fights, missing cool screenshots occasions because I was boiling with seethe
>>736003654At the same time it's annoying traversal was still piss easy.
>
>>736003717That and cargo getting damaged when riding a vehicle and hitting a small rock at 1km/h, but I read that one is because of fucky physics. I also ended up summoning for every catcher fight because I didn't feel like putting the efforts, but even then they'd sometimes one shot me during summoning animation kek. The kaiju songs are their own experience and I don't hate it, but I love the game OST a lot more so I feel like I cucked myself out of hearing the BT boss musics which are so good in DS2
>>736003832Kino stare, kino second fight, but good lord the third fight dragged on way too long.
I haven't finished DS1 yet and won't start with this until then
>>736003201Fix your truck or you're fired, FedEx bro.>>736003654>do a post game Difficulty add>WTF ONE SHOTS!?Yeah, there's a reason Playtesters reigned Kojimbo in. It's not really meant for a first play.
>>736004285The first fight is ok on lower difficulties because you're not getting absolutely shredded by the AI if you break stealth.Honestly, his fights and bosses in general suck on higher difficulties because it's clear Kojima didn't do a balance pass.>Brutal or ITW>"S-rank: Sam takes 150% or less damage">ITW easily breaks that if you don't rollsloppa spam>Brutal will break it if you try to fight the bosses normally and take 4-5 hits.
>>736004437I intentionally forbid myself from fabricating or repairing vehicles
>>736004437Very hard was also added with DS1 PC release and I don't remember it making some fights this tedious. I even have fond memories of the whale fight on very hardOn another note, is there armor in DS2 ? The one to attach on the suit like thermal pads. I 5 star'd roughly half the shelters/cities, most others are 3/4 star, haven't seen armor yet outside of bandits having it
>>736004636like you even need to the fuckin things are everywhere
>>736004661exactly why I don't
People consider TTW problematic for fights? It's the only difficulty that makes ghost Mechs a proper threat and the only annoying fight with it set is the third Neil one.
>homo liberansI'm not gay
>>736004941Ghost mechs are hard as fuck with it on imo
>>735987783Do you have any, mr. Maam?
>>736004941I don't really have any significant problems with mechs on TTW because I didn't fight them until I got combat gloves but the boss fights in general all become one shots if you aren't prepared
>DS1>see a Sam-only order for 12 lbs of sleeping meds to The Elder>huh well im going right by anyway, thats what 1 crate?>10 fucking briefcases at 1.2 lbs eachI hope he fucking overdoses on these things
>>736005931be careful what you wish for
Yes or no, is the ending in ds2 a happy one?
>>736002349You mean the kung fu pizza man that gives you pizza dough capable of knocking out armored goons, that also lets you use Bison's psycho crusher didn't do that already?
>>735992405Kojima loves this vtuber, I hate it, what can ya do
>truck jumps really high sometimesWhy? Kept ruining my cargo.
I can't stop thinking about the fighting on the bridge>>736006324Happy with some sadness
>>736003945Yeah. I don't understand why they didn't expand the vehicle shit if they were gonna give them to us an hour into this game and make almost the entire map accessible to them. Like, for fuck's sake, add the ability for tyres to get punctured on rough terrain and make us cart a spare around and think about where we're driving. Add strain for going uphill at certain angles and enough strain makes the car blow... something, IDK, I'm not a car guy.
>>736001838I just took 3 rocket launchers on that fight and it was over pretty quickly for the first phase. It's pretty obvious a fight is going to happen though. It's not like Sam or I are gonna forget being sucked off into another world stepping out of the facility in the first game.>Sam we should go outside an investigateNo, fuck you Dollman. I know exactly what is going to happen when I go outside. I'm going to go to my room, rest, shower (after resting for some weird reason, not before like a normal human), then chug three cans of Arizona Ice Tea. >Sam it seems only seconds passed out here while hours passes in that world we were inYES I FUCKING KNOW SHUT THE FUCK UPDo the cryptobiotes in the room actually do anything? I only eat them because the buzzing in my left headphone annoys me.
>>736007372they satiate sams hunger somewhat
>>736007452No wonder Sam devoured that scorching hot pizza directly out of the oven in under 30 seconds. He's been surviving on bugs and the occasional apple the entire time.
>Think the tar cannon is a meme>It is a constant stun-locking stream of death with yuge ammo capacity that you can refill pretty much everywhereGod damn. Neil and his butt buddies didn't even get a chance to retaliate.

>got the coffin board yesterday>try to do some deliveries with it>fall more than 2 feet and the packages get tons of damageah...
>>736010583Skill issue, try not falling.
I don't like watchers. In 1 I used to let myself get caught then kill the boss for crystals and clear weather. But you can't do that now because watchers game over you. BTs suck now
>>736011356>because watchers game over youwhat?I was about to agree with you until this part
>>736011490If you let one grab you you void out
>>736011594no you don'tthey spawn their own catcher and you can kill it but it doesn't clear out the rest of the watchers
can't wait to be done with this jackass
Is there still a point to shooting through blood clouds after you get the BT effectiveness on MP rounds? Does it boost damage? Trying to trim my loadout and I've been noticing the blood nades aren't really doing much most of the time I carry them.
>>736011973you could taken a ride on the monorail and jumped off onto the islandyou can then build a zipline on the island to reconnect back to the monorail

>you cant unlock that suit Sam wore in the openingFucking hell, Kojima
>Sam turns into a turbo autist whenever Tomorrow is in the cutsceneAnyone else noticed it? Whats up with that?
>>736000645He kind of is. Kojima Productions is finished once Kojima himself retires. Kojima fans are fans of the man himself, not games released under his publishing company.
>>735957542I find the game substantially easier than the first on wilder except at the very start when I could die in two hits, now I have the battle skeleton level 3 and it's a non issue again, heck even rainfall seems more lenient on cargo than ds1

>>736013719He hogs the limelight so nobody knows who the fuck they are
>>736013604Yeah, rainfall is a total non issue in DS2. Dont think ive ever had to use that repair spray after the tutorial.

>>736014173anon he's an egomaniac with a celebrity complex, that one time he gave others free rein he had to call in external help to complete it. when he left they made Metal Gear Survive and a 1-to-1 remake with Delta. he's never going to let anyone use his name.
>>736014056It's once again the same syndrome as the first game. Travel and traveling being presented as some part of the journey, yet 90% of it has practically zero severe hazards, nor is the environment particularly interactive when it comes to all that.
>>736014361Him being an "egomaniac" had nothing to do with Rising having troubled development. It did because they tried to build a full fledged AAA game around weird and ambitious mechanic and got stuck. I don't think there was anything wrong with Survive but both of these games were made because Konami wanted them to.>he's never going to let anyone use his nameWhy would they use his name? What are you even talking about at this point?
>>736014252Yeah, best of the unrecycled stuff probably.
>>736011490Think he's talking about the big BT's with eyes. >It's a 'kojima ruins a chill drive by playing someone talking softly and pressing three piano keys a sentence' delivery.Fuck all the music in this game is trash.

>>736014598they're called Kojima Productions not Kojima and Friends Productions, the moment he retires that whole posse is going to disband or its just going to be a repeat of the Metal Gear is going through right now
>>736014979Anon clearly stated he enjoyed being intentionally caught then killing the catcher to instantly clear the BT zone. You're not the brightest, are you?
>>736014803>What the fuck do you want me to do cuntTest it out and see if you kill stuff faster. Shooting through the blood cloud without that APAS thing is a noticeable increase in damage. Unfortunately I don't have that APAS thing yet so I can't test out what the other guy was asking. Yet.
>>736015051More like the other guy is ESL because I know exactly what he is referring to except I don't get caught by the catcher that the watchers spawn. Apparently he thinks those are the same thing as the little tar people that drag you to the catcher.
>>736015030Did Warner Bros stop making movies when the founders died?Kojima has already talked about other people in the studio being given the opportunity to take the reins, so please shut the fuck up.

>>736012236yes you can, just hold the button for it even if the prompt doesn't show>>736012340It's always funny when a long standing console game gets ported to PC and suddenly the game's glaring lack of a wiki comes to attention, and the host of myths surrounding game mechanics start suddenly getting dispelledRDR2 was the last one I played where it was BAD. Fucking gamefaqs posts saying every horse breed and even gender had different temperaments. Absolute fucking horseshit. Every horse was identical, the console players just got confused by their horse bonding level going back to 0 when they bought a new horse. Nothing datamined supported their notions of how horses worked at all. They just invented all of it.
>>736006526you obviously never faced an italian in cqc
>and this is Sam>he's got awesomeblossomphobia
>>736015313Ok? And it has already happened with MGRR (development started in 2009), even if it wasn't a perfect success.MGS being mishandled for past 10 years is not the fault of developers and is an issue shared with every other IP owned by Konami. The idea that an operation worth hundreds of millions of dollars will just cease to exist the moment 1 guy retires is fucking insane.
Really enjoying the game so far. Trying to 4 star all the structures before moving on in the story.
>>736015295Are you? Play the fucking game, dumbass.
>finally a music player \ but the music is worse>radial menu for structures \ but the game is much easier so you barely need anything>vehicles improved \ but the land is so straight and easy to navigate that even the shittier DS1 vehicles could work here>tons of apas enhancements yet the ones from DS1 director's cut are missing like the ability to permanently display a quest marker on the hud>you can kill whoever you want and anyone can dispose of corpses and "muh chiralium in the air" is not an issue anymore>all this forced metal gear-esque combat and very clunky stealth + obtuse phantom pain callbacks>absolute lack of any surprises what so ever, anyone with a brain would figure out who tomorrow is after 5 minutes and the whole cuckoldry story was pathetic compared to mads mikkelsen kino fightsI don't know, while the game is an improvement it feels like a 1.5 sidegrade and not a full step forward, it forgets a lot of the quality of life death stranding director's cut had and it pisses me off because it could very well be the final strand type game which means we'll never get the perfect strand game
>>736016005This was pretty much how I felt about it when I first played on PS5 at launch.Still in modern gaming it's good enough that a game doesn't completely gut itself for the sequel, the fact DS2 ONLY removed it's own liver and one kidney to appease normalfags is better than what could have happened.
>>736016478considering kojima is now working on that shitty horror game and another stealth game for xbox i have low hopes we'll get more comfy shit from him in the future
>>736015387>It's always funny when a long standing console game gets ported to PC and suddenly the game's glaring lack of a wiki comes to attention, and the host of myths surrounding game mechanics start suddenly getting dispelledGee I wonder why that happens when one platforming has datamining and the ability to expose shit in CE while the other has nothing but your eyeballs and spending 80 hours killing the same enemy over and over trying to figure out if you're doing 2% extra damage. It's a real mystery.
>>736016005Yeah. If there's a DS3, I hope we get a whole clean slate. Hell let me play as an average porter. That chapter in DS1 where Deadman took BB for recalibration, I was like oh shit avoid BT areas at all costs. It's gonna be like this meme if/when we play as tomorrow.
>>736016634How would they even implement her tar powers in gameplay? All I can think of is to hold the tar button while falling to dive into it instead of taking fall damage, and you getting free fast travel from anywhere.
>>736016756I hope that she's just a second Amelie, readying the chiral network for someone else to come through to connect, like these first two games. I hope they don't turn her tar stuff into a beat 'em game with some delivering.

>>736016590Nah, there's also just the mindset. They don't approach things with a scientific approach. They make assumptions and create flawed tests. It has to do with the demo being 9-25 year olds who are low iq.
