I'm torn between whether I keep playing or wait a few months for more patches. I'd hate to breeze past all the starter areas only for them to add more content to parts of the world I've already surpassed. I don't see myself replaying this ever either. Right now the game is about a 7/10 for me, but with a few more adjustments it could be an 8/10. Perhaps the blastmaxxing option is to wait.

You don't have to complete the "To the Rescue" questOh and you have to go to the Redfox Merchants by the Beardtree Gorge on the right side of the map to get Diederik, the tailor.That said, I wouldn't recommend it. Everyone's scattered around now and your storage chest is nowhere near the one abyss nexus in the city.The ONLY reward is a new home. The camp will be gone and your house there will be gone. I do not know if it transfers the furniture placement because I never dabbled with it.

My biggest issue currently is that some things simply do not work. I got the new attack from the spider queen and it's cool and all, but the poison does literally no damage. You can test it out yourself, just attack a boss with it (I did it with several, just in case one of them was immune for whatever reason) or try to repeatedly poison a normal enemy.

I finally got the Legendary Wolf quest to spawn. As an added bonus, it also unlocked research for me, at least at the institute. I'll have to check the other 5 research places I've discovered to see if it's available there as well. Turns out that the whole quest line down at the fishing village might be a prerequisite. I noticed that the game gave me tutorials there for things I had already encountered, like activating the effects of special equipment and backpack items. I had already done all of the quests for the other houses, aside from Serkis which is stuck at 10/13 with no other quests available, and a couple of the bounties. After I finished bringing the girl back, I decided to go handle some bounties in case they are tied to unlocks. I went to the institute and checked out the research place, just to see if maybe I had done something to make it available, and it was. After I gave him his tea and started the first research, I opened my map to check where the bounty was and noticed the first quest about the wolf was available, as was a quest line for an entirely new house, House Felix.

To unlock the wolf you need to also do the fishing guild and church quests in Hernand. I had everything but the fishing village done. After that, I got it!

It's a bit annoying as the quests aren't isolated in their own chains per house etc, exploring and doing missions for one house seem to cause new missions to appear (and thus cause places to fall to the enemy instantly).
