I used clothesline on his ass which made the fight so much easier compared to just trying to whack him. Some bosses have phases where they get hyper armor and sometimes (not always) you can knock them out of it by using something like force palm/blind/some other ability like fire. Honestly you can probably beat most the bosses with right click and plenty of food. But blocking is a good way to avoid damage. There's one boss that could still 1-shot my ass if I didn't block at the right time and dodging his special attack was risky if you didn't time it well.
I'm still wrapping my head around what this game "is", but I'm thinking it's one of the greats.

I know this shit isn't shakespeare, but am I alone in thinking it's really weird how Kliff dies at the start of the game, and has NO FUCKING REACTION to waking up in the abyss, getting some magical fucking cube bracelet that lets him grab stuff, a shadowy cloak that lets him glide, or meeting alustin and the witches, aka the gods of the world. Dude just takes it all in stride like it's another day in the office. The game NEVER addresses these events in a serious, in-universe manner outside of "yeah, it's a video game and you're the chosen one". The only time it has ever been referenced is a passing remark when anotehr greymane asks kliff about his past and Kliff just shrugs it off along the lines of "there's a bit of a story there". Maybe it's just Stockholm syndrome but I started liking the game a lot more after like 15 hours. I get into a comfy rhythm with things but there's still shit that bothers me. I hate the updated controls. I wish there was a toggle in the options to use the original scheme. Ragdolls are super inconsistent. Sometimes they are persistent and stick around for a while and other times they fade out instantly before I can even loot the bodies.
