I got it today because i saw the ps5 version got a patch that makes it look good in balanced and performance mode and all the posting here made it seem to neat to pass up.Btw, it looks absolutely fine in balanced mode and also fine in performance mode on base ps5. Like really good even. The only main thing ive noticed in performance mode is that tessilation is turned off. Theres probably more but im just sticking to balanced for now. Only played a few hours but holy shit its exactly what people are talking about. Theres so many wacky systems and its so dense with detail. And how theres physics on everything and you can just smash it all and it looks incredible at the same time. Its such a weird fucking game. Im looking forward to seeing if i can find the same npcs and animals and if my standing with them stays how it was when i left them and what a good standing even does. Its really overwhelming just looking at the compendium or whatever at all the animals and characters im going to be seeing. Its just so much.... its really fascinating

Jesus, Silver Fang, the wolf mount, absolutely eradicates camps. I just did the quest where you retake the quarry for a noble after you turn in the Great Thief bounty, and all I had to do was run through a crowd, turn around, and use the mount's claw attack to butcher a whole bunch of enemies at once.

Is the game performing worse for anyone else? 5080, max settings, aside from shadows set to Ultra. Haven't changed them but the game feels like im losing 5-10 FPS than usual.

After many long hours, I have at last managed to get the last House Serkis quest to pop. After unlocking and completing the legendary wolf quest (do the church quests and the pirate one on top of doing the other houses aside from around half of the bounties), I had a quest for capturing the Great Thief pop up. Did that and got a follow-up with House Felix. Cleared that one, but nothing else opened up. Decided to clear off some bounties since I was at loli village to find leaves and nabbed the drug dealer. The second I was able to restrain him, I got a quest for the Beggar King and the last House Serkis quest showed up.Now I'm wondering if there's even more quests that will become available once I finish bringing in the rest of the bounties.

when do you guys start merging level 3 abyss gears? fortification 2 gives 6 defence, makes sense as 3+3=6. but fort. 3 gives only 9, and if i had to guess, fort. 4 will give 12? these diminishing returns seem pretty brutal, unless there are other armor gears i haven't discovered yet
