What music y'all listening to while you game?
is this base really strong enough?
The in-game OST
>>736006275Pedophile
So many choices.
If you listen to the same music for years on end, then you are a genuine subhuman. I do not listen to any one song for more than 3 months. I focus on discovering new music constantly. That way, if I ever want to remember shit from a specific period in my life, I can listen to the music I was hearing at that time, and it will instantly evoke the associated memories. listening to for example pendulum all the time makes your brain become desensitized to it, and the music loses its power to evoke memories. not knowing this is proof of your complete imbecility. bunch of numb brained retards in this thread
>>736006136MAGIC PEOPLE VOODOO PEOPLE
>>736006713that song is addicting to listen to
>>736006662I bet you listen to spotify top 100 list only. If that's not subhuman, then I don't know what is.
I don't listen
>>736006443WHEEEEERE'S YOOOO HEEEEAAAD AAAAT-AT-AT-AT-AT
>>736006662That's exactly the opposite of how it works. The better you learn a piece, the more you get to glean from it. The more you anticipate its peaks. Music only becomes more effective as you listen and re-listen.
>>736006932i have not listened to any pop slop since i was 12. also, you know, it's best not to jump to any conclusions or make any assumptions when you're retarded, okay bud? thanks for confirming my hypothesis of you being a numb brained retard nigger tho.
>>736006662i feel like everything i listened to between age 18-25 has completely left my memory
>>736006136>ITS A NEW DAAAAAAAWN
been rocket jumping in TF2 all night with this on loop:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxJsSmty-iMit's a vibe like nothing else
>>736007018You're hinting at something real— and I love it! Unfortunately, you are completely wrong in terms of scale. A song will never sound great the first time you hear it, and it will only get better and better after repeat consumption of it— that's the correct part. But after listening to it for months, its musical efficacy has already passed its peak. Now, the only major value left in it is its associative power that's imprinted on your brain. If you stop listening to it for a while, you can use it to recall memories of the period that you did listen to it. That's what im talking about here nigger
>>736007243chatGPZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz didn't read
>>736007265Wow, my simple use of the AI dash and common speaking phrases has confused the ESL nigger into thinking that I'm AI— I must recaliber my evaluation of these subhumans, though I can hardly come up with any pejorative that more deragotary than "subhuman".Funny thing is, if you werent a ESL monkey, you would spot all my grammar errors, though that is far beyond your abilities— and I love it!
>>736006136>he doesnt play vidya with literally everything muted, just in complete silenceNGMI
>>736006136
>>736006136Usually listen to something chill if I have to grind something out.

>>736007768sorry you got intellectually mogged
>>736007748Why do I see Ricardo in this pic?
>>736007808>mogged>>>/reddit/
>>736006662specific music that i love and listen to often still invokes memories during the period of my life when i first found said music, it doesnt matter how many times i listen to it.
>>736007837The fact that you are completely incapable of arguing back is proof of your intellectual inferiority— I will look forward to the next ad hominem you spew in your impotent brainlet rage
>>736006662I am always listening to new stuff, but I also like to revisit certain artists or pieces when the mood takes me. There is nothing wrong with soaking in a certain album or genre for a good while either.
>>736007903There's a difference between actively trying to remember stuff related to a song you've listened to for years, versus having your memories forcefully invoked by the associative powers of your brain when listening to a song you havent heard in a long time. though this sort of simple logic might be beyond your cognitive level
>>736008015uhh yeah, that's what i said. the idea is to basically archive songs after a period of listening, and only access it infrequently to use them as a key to unlock memories of a set period. but you have to actively avoid the song for it not lose its potency
>>736006136I feel like my playlists could give the average chuddie an aneurysm or sth>no fucking dadrock>very little hipster shit for boys who get off on being niche>lots of current pop releases (recently blasting BTS on repeat)>a decent amount of music made by tranny artists (picrel)
Only boring people pretend that there's no good new music coming out.
>>736007237what the fuck is this shit LMAO
>>736008447Of course there is, but that doesn't make pre-existing music any worse. There's a lot of it, if you hadn't noticed. Roughly five hundred years' worth available in recordings.
>>736007990I don't argue with plebbitors

>>736008791from your short seething replies, not only can i tell your IQ is far beneath mine, i can also tell that you are something far worse than a subhuman, you are an ESL
>>736007018Counterpoint: you can't keep up with trending music and billboard 50 with that attitude.
>>736008942>is incapable of making a single post without a buzzword
YouTube keeps giving be Breakcore and I end up listening to it for hours on end
>>736007237it feels like this is what green goblin mode was meant to be KEK
>>736008802Reading comprehension apparently
>>736009021Breakcore is just poorly made jungle.
>>736009002the only thing im capable of is to make you sneed and feed me with redundant goyslop replies— and honestly, it's getting tiring! You can't come up with a single argument despite all my goading——————
>>736006136god i used to cum everytime the dude started singing in plasticworld. then i heard the vip mix
>>736009065is that the answer to the question is asked you, or did you not comprehend my question?
Yes, I listen to whatever radio music I heard during my childhood years. I'm partial to eurobeat from ATC, Aqua, Toybox.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_NmvWGy9pE
>>736006662>needing some aid to remember past events because he's mentally retarded>not exploring the capabilities of human imagination while listening to music
>>736009143How much if a racist are you?
>>736009090You didn't have an argument to begin with. Tarding out in a music thread because you somehow believe you are the only person to listen to new songs for more than year is truly a new level of stupid

>>736009367You mean how long did it take until I decided to humor your stupid request? Not long. I make it a habit to not take shitposters seriously for the most part
>>736009160Nah its perfectly fine to use music to resurface past memories and events, especially since music like any other good art form is capable of activating your inner emotional thoughts. Literally happens to me all the time with film and vidya. Just don't be a sperg about it like the other faggot
>>736009452so you just spent an hour posting 10 dismissive ad hominems before bending the knee is what you're saying? all for a perceived shitpost?the way you condone yourself, i find it incomprehensible
>>736006662my playlist has not been updated since 2010
>>736009693>frogposter as wellchecks out
>>736009612Listen, you had a good point about the importance of using music to evoke memories but that sperging out over the most basic and well understood idea is needless, got it?

Play Skate Story (I haven't, but the music is cool)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xmf1a-HZas
>>736006662The real problem is that eventually you'll find it very hard to find new music.I do mostly the same, find new music over time in "batches" listen to that batch for a month or two before growing bored of most of it and archiving the ones I really liked into my main playlist. My main playlist is currently at ~2200 songs, and that's been heavily curated over the years. At this point I am genuinely having difficulty finding new songs I like and when the cow has eventually been milked dry I'm not sure what I'll do.
I prefer listening to the in-game music unless I'm playing a really grindy, non-immersive game where I already know what's happening and I've already listened to the game's soundtrack for hudnreds of hours.Usually when I level up in WoW private servers or some shit, this was my playlist last night. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9O2lg1Jd6shttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dZbAFmnRVAhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rj2lXOAC_aA
Are there any OSTs like Nier and Nier Automata?
>>736006136>pendulum I thought this was gonna be a stealth mlp thread :(
>>736010469I like the first track, but the rest have weak lyrical work and the story doesn't really go anywhere. Still a decent entry to their ouvre, but Antimai and the Acts are still better. The use of vocoders is pretty fun. Marauders is dogshit lyrically. Oooohhh in the desert there's bad guys don't get near them oooooh. How terrible if you do meet them you'll diiieee.>>736013464Unironically E33.
>>736006136>Pendulum Ahhh, I've been ruined by *that* animation...its like hearing Camel by Camel, my mind instantly goes that slutcat
>>736014649>>736013532We have been tainted haven't we...
>>736006136In Silico is underrated and their best album.I like Carpenter Brute TRILOGY for fast paced zoning out. Nonagon Infinity by King Gizzards too.Recently really been enjoying Gnome and Castle Rat, I crave for more cheesy fantasy rock

>>736013464Stellar Blade, it's better than Nier's
>>736006136https://youtu.be/ZwnT-GhADBw
>>736006662I never actively search for new music because there's an infinite amount of fucking horrible songs. I'm very autistic about hearing and I only want to hear good things and waste as little time as I can subjecting my ears to garbage. So I wait for fate to decide that I should listen to a song and it's been going pretty well.
As a motorstorm enjoyer pendulum are essential.

BLACK TARANTULA
I once listened to all of (at the time) slayer's discography on loop during a monstrous 18 hour gaming session. When I attempted to sleep I was kept awake by hearing a few songs (notably eyes of the insane) in my head and I couldn't turn it off.It was at that point I effectively quit the game I was playing and stopped listening to slayer as it was actively driving me loopy.
>>736007654Mah nigga. I love demetori. Add some Crow'sClaw to the mix.
a little bit of this and a little bit of that
