What did you think of the Saturn era of Sonic Team?

>>736030315It was stupid that Sonic Team didn't make a new Sonic game at that time. Nights and Burning Rangers are fun, but they're also a reminder that there's no new Sonic game on the Saturn. The best thing I can say is the letter grades from Nights impacted how their later games work.

>>736034636Fun fact: Burning Rangers was made out of a PSO prototype, releasing a Saturn MMO in 1998 was deemed too ridiculous even for Sega. So it became a solo game about fire fighters and the online game went to Dreamcast.

After Sonic 3, they could've immediately started on another Sonic game. It should've been about as fun as that one and the new console definitely needed it. They can even make NiGHTS into Dreams, too. It's very possible for them to make both.
