But BL4 feels very very weird-sort of similar to the Pre Sequel except even more disjointed and "off" feeling. Most of the people from BL1-BL3 are not in the game or even mentioned, it feels less like a swan song and more like a harsh cut and run.

Borderlands and Dead Island were only played a lot because people still appreciated the concept of playing video games with people in another state or country back then.
