It has way better exploration than most other similar games. A huge amount of puzzles in the game are unique and I keep finding new ones over a hundred hours in. Combat is usually killing hordes of mooks or getting shit on by some boss with a never ending whombo combo. It's a decent 7/10 game like dragons dogma. A true 11/10 is BOTW

New gold standard for open worlds. If TES6 doesn't hit this level of density for environments it will be a flop. GOTY so far in 2026 maybe the GOAT but I'm only 50 hours in and have another 100-200 hours before I'm done with everything else. They're planning free content updates too so I'll have to wait and see what those are like.

I do not and will not ever give a fuck about these bland characters and disjointed story. Also the combat is pretty shit. It feigns having depth because on most bosses, the majority of your moves will be invalidated by either hyper-armour or the attack windows being too short to string anything together so you end up just using the same 2-3 moves over and over, and one of those will be the ZA WARUDO light flash follow-up because it slows time and lets you get 6 hits in instead of just 2-3
