That is my exact mouse.

your wrist can rest without torsion, less strain overall
>>
>>736116127
Total meme. The act of clicking creates left torque, it's literally detrimental for FPS games.
>>
>>736116281
It makes you look and feel retarded.
>>
This kind of mouse only makes sense in a professional environment where you're not doing motions you would in something like am FPS.
>>
>>736116127
just put something under the mousepad to keep it at an angle

It's for literal limp-wristed weaklings who get carpal tunnel from using a normal mouse.

How does one even play an FPS with that?

>>
>>736116127
Why would I want a vertical mouse?
My enemies are around me, not above and below me.
>>
>>736116127
It is comfier, but I returned one I tried because the action of clicking it moved my mouse to the left a bit.
>>
>>736116362
oddly enough it's the keyboard that always gives me the most wrist pains, I've tried posture changes, elevation, nothing works
>>
>>736117127
You would play it the same way albeit it's a much clunkier mouse where each press would be counteracted by your thumb rather than the desk itself to stabilize yourself shooting something.
>>
>>736116691
If it's unnatural, then why the fuck did they allow me to twist my wrists in the first place? Stupid ass nigger
>>
i use a shitty one from amazon. feels great but the mouse wheel fucks itself after two years so i just buy a new one, ask for a refund, and send the old one back. works every time

I have L-shaped desk my whole forearm is supported.
My arm is resting in that position without using vertical mouse.

wait that actually sounds kind of nice....
obviously you'd have a horizontal part to keep it when your not using.
>>
>>736117369
When you stand up, and let your arm rest at your side, what position is it in? Are your palms facing backwards, or against your leg? Natural in this context means closest to the resting position.

I bought pic rel almost exactly a year ago, since I needed a wireless mouse, and I just couldn't stop using it. I used a Logitech G502 for like 8-9 years before that, and was starting to get pains, but I mostly blame Let It Die for that.

I forgot that it's the EM11 NL, but you're still a dumb phone poster.

>>736120913
it's hard to give a good review regarding comfort, because basically I was playing LiD a lot, and stopping playing LiD solved my problems. But it's cheap, the battery life seems great (i.e. on my PC all day and get days if not weeks of battery life, you can also use it wired while it charges), and it seems to be holding up well after a year of use. I think it took me some time to properly acclimatise, I'd often try to press the top of the mouse thinking it was my G502, but otherwise, I just found it quite natural to use, it isn't weighty (despite having a battery). Only thing I could think to complain about is the lack of buttons, simply because it feels like there's more real estate for useful buttons in this form factor.

I got the smaller version of this mouse and I've had to replace it 3 times already. If you use it all day like I do the switches last about a year and a half at most. Which is conveniently just right after the warranty expires.
Do yourself a favor and make up some lame excuse to cash in your warranty early, cause you're gonna need a new one soon after anyways.

First one I got broke down within a year, luckily I bought a sparse of the exact same model.
It works well and I haven't had wrist issues since then... But it does seem to gather more gunk than normal mice so I have to remember to wipe it more often.
Previous one mainly had it's scroll wheel get fucked and I'm thinking it was because of overuse as well since I use it A LOT when working in Blender and to quickly open and close images/tabs for example. Also a lot of gunk to trapped within the rubber ridges of the scroll wheel, and even trying to just scraped it out with toothpicks didn't really seem to help much-- like, the gunk did come out, but there were still residues left even after wiping, then some probably fell inside the mouse, which further led to the mouse wheel breaking down and not working.

people dont like to hear it, but this is just bad hygiene. open those things up and clean with isopropyl and get all the dead skin out and they work fine

sorry dudes. i worked at a tiny little computer shop with a repair section. its dead skin. like how all ps3's and ps4's are filled with cockroaches when we open them up. 95% of all dust inside a house is just, dead skin. think about that when your in someones house and you see this. dead skin.

and its the obessive hand washing removing the oils on your hands, making them dry. you want SOME moisture, my dude.
>>
>>736129604
you're not the only one that has worked on a repair shop
Yes moisture does help dying logitech switches, but it has nothing to do with this issue. The switches are just shit, they will wear extremely fast regardless of what you do. I owned 2 502s that died after roughly 1~2 years of use. Breathing into it helped for a couple minutes (because of the moisture) but the problem would return shortly after.

I'm not sure why you're even trying to argue, the problem is widely known. The only permanent solution is soldering them or getting a new mouse.
>>
>>736129604
I know what dust is you condescending dickhead. My hands leave no residue on any of my devices and I don't have ashy skin. Logitech just makes cheap plastic hunks of shit, even if you wore a hazmat suit and lived in a hermetically sealed chamber they'd still crap out in a year or two.
>>
>>736129806
wow thats crazy, the moisture was the last thing i mention, in a completely different sentence, referring to a different problem, and you wrote a whole post about it with it as the main subject. like, its so wrong, so completely missed the point of the post, i dont even think its an llm. this is real person.

>>736129910
>my hands leave no residue
yeah, too dry.
>dont have ashy skin
yeah sounds like you scrub the shit out of them constantly and so it never has time to actually make it to the ashy appearance. does ashy skin look ashy if youve scraped the dead skin off of it? think about this for a moment.

and yeah, mine do crap out and a year or two. then i open them up and clean the dead skin out. which is what i said.
>>736127307
>open those things up and clean with isopropyl and get all the dead skin out and they work fine
>>
>>736130148
Skin doesn't just magically teleport into your devices if you're not shedding a significant amount and the air is dust free. You are an extremely annoying dipshit.
>>
>>736130387
everyones shedding skin all the time, constantly. just because its not forming large chunks on your hands that you can visibly see, doesnt mean the skin on your hands not shedding. and sure, the room might be dust free, but your hand, constantly shedding, directly encapsulating a mouse, for several hours a day? that area?

anyways do me a solid and put those "dead" mice on ebay so i can buy, clean your dna out of them and resell them. goes to my beer fund.
