When the universe is destroyed, Rosalina remains so I got the impression that she was some kind of immortal cosmic being. Making her just be Peach's Sister kinda detracts from her appeal for me. Meanwhile, MattPatt's idea of her being from an earlier incarnation of the universe elevates that appeal.
