Genuinely, what do you think the reaction at the "Denuvo Leadership" is? The internal one, the one that they don't show to the public.Yes, the Hypervisor method is unreliable and finnicky to have, but their 'aura of invincibility' is gone, a determined pirate can now play the game for free on day one, with the hefty price the vidya companies paid for their protection free being worthless. That can't be good for Morale.
Im not really aware of how the corpo world works at that level, but id imagine that theyre either calm, or in the "FREAK THE FUCK OUT AND SELL EVERYTHING" mode, with no in betweens. I guess we'll see if the prices to buy denuvo by developers for their games change
>>736131186>Yes, the Hypervisor method is unreliable and finnicky to haveThat was a month ago. Now it's pretty set in stone. Even Voices38 (the guy that developed an AI crackbot and was knocking denuvo games out every week before this) acknowledged it
my question is why they aren't making good on their promise to give refunds if the game is cracked while protected I guess they don't count these as cracks? I wonder how their spinning it to suits. >uh yes people are playing the game for free but no technically we haven't done anything wrong so uh erm teehee
>>736133624>they aren't making good on their promise to give refunds if the game is cracked while protectedThey never promised this lol. It was always a sales tactic.
>>736131186Their reaction was to try to save face. In 2 more weeks they will have a countermeasure! Or some bullshit like that.
