The creator literally made it because he loves his IRL slav wife so much. So there is a forced waifu element in that way (the main character is based on his wife) but really not any more than that. The doll house does sound gay in concept but it's mainly used as a vehicle for creative enemy designs and mechanics. desu Alisa is the closest game Ive ever played in design to the original RE1 if that makes sense. RE2 and 3 play a lot differently to RE1 but Alisa feels really close to it.I will say tho that i was very disgusted they included spherehunter as a voice actor for one of the bosses.

There's an amazing Resi 3 mod called Lord of the Necropolis that made it so that you can manually execute her dodges at any time instead of contextually and it's great
