But after Sonic 3 I'm not sure if I can do it anymore. The audience on Sonic 3 vs the first 2 made me cringe.The MCU is over, so initially a few of them were thinking this was like MCU, and they were fangirls, but sorta normal ones, a bit cringe but they just seemed to be part of the "hype culture" of GenZ that feels so out of place in cinema. I always wondered if Amy buys human female clothes and just alters them? Does she buy panties and cut a hole in each one for her tail? Hot also is Cream and Cream's mom the same way? And Rogue? Tails and Sonic just walk around naked, which I always found funny, but they were too scared to have the female characters be nude. Sonic Boom had a lot of problems, but you can tell the writing team was full of liberals and Redditors that sat down and said "Geez, why does Amy have to be stupid, weak, and overly feminine in every iteration? Let's make her a STRONG INDEPENDANT WOMAN WHO DON'T NEED NO MAN." And you can tell they're doing that for Sonic 4 as well. They made Sonic very condescending instead of quirky and excitable. Knuckles was made out to be this dumb lughead bruiser but secretly had his moments of ingenuity. I'd say every character was assassinated in Sonic Boom, but I guess the humor would appeal to certain audiences. To me they twisted every character's personality to make them more "in-line" with modern day standards of men and women. Sonic was honestly the worst anytime he said a line it was like listening to Reddit explain why everyone is wrong or tell a dry joke.

The Sonic IP feels a bit dry nowadays aside from the next Sonic movie. I mean...what else is coming out Sonic related? What else is there to really discuss aside from the older Sonic games and shows? The Sonic demographic is just going to keep growing older and older. A younger generation is probably into it as well, but if you look at the original/older fanbase I imagine it's more like 25-45 year olds. I don't go to the movie theaters anymore, so I don't know honestly what the age split would be in the theaters. A lot of people have children now, so might use their kids as an excuse to go see it, but I also would imagine you have a lot of single adult men and women who might go with friends to see it. I've seen some Sonic autistics at my job who clearly look like they're in their mid to late 20's, if not early 30's.
