If you took 10 of the best looking games from 8th gen and compared them to 9th gen, you literally wouldn't be able to tell a difference. And I'm pretty sure if you did the same with next gen vs this current gen it'll be the same, eventually you get to a point of diminishing returns. Shit like RDR2 still looks better than 95% of the shit that is currently coming out and that game released what 2017? 2018? Obviously I'm not saying everything should be pixel art bullshit but it's just gotten to a point where graphics is the last thing I give a flying fuck about because most games look good.
