I don't know why they couldn't do board competitions each year. They're fun. They did it once and never again. It's not a big deal. Just split the board randomly into teams of different categories for the day. It generates memes and fun. I doubt anons would care what the category is, could be like a "splat war" from Splatoon. Hell, you could just do like condiments or pizza toppings.

If your post had certain keywords relevant to the board you were posting on, you gained points for your team, if you had certain other keywords, you would lose points for your team, these got put into "buckets" which would be applied to the teams' scores with each score update at regular intervals. This is why the Creme and Mini teams were consistently behind the other three teams by a significant margin. Creme posters had a larger contingent of coomers than the other three teams, so they tended to post more subtractive keywords, and Mini posters were more obsessed with their mascot character than the leading three teams, so they weren't necessarily posting as many positive keywords, as well as probably posting a decent number of negative keywords themselves. I don't even fuckin' know. April Fools'.
