You essentially have 16 modes of alignment at the most basic level - Authoritarian vs Libertarian, and Progressive vs Conservative. Then you have the same two axis for both social and economic policy for a total of 16 possible combinations. I really don't think you can generalize people more broadly than that without your definitions completely breaking down.
