Just finished this game. Let's talk about it.

If you're under 1000 cycles then what are you even doing?
No, we're going to discuss The Artisan of Glimmith instead.

One day I'll get to Zachtronics, man. One day.
>>736159729Well now you need to do all the bonus puzzles and start solving for cost and cycles and such
>>736160748>Wait a minute, that card...
>>736162775Opus magnum is honestly the best start for it. It's much easier to finish than the other games because it's built around optimization after solving it, not being forced to make do with very limited space.

>>736159729Couldn't really get into it. I'd say the biggest issue I have with it is that there's no real restriction on the player meaning that each level can be solved by brute force. While trying to make a good solution I know in the back of my head that I could at any time just make a shit solution and go to the next level. Compare this with SpaceChem where space is very limited forcing you to make a good solution.
If your solution is not input capped are you even playing the game right
>>736163917This is why I wish the game had a lot more of those puzzle box solutions you get after the main game.I feel like I would naturally try to optimize a lot more if the game taught me the tricks to get started, but both the main game and dlc are mostly just about giving you the basics and letting you go ham. Which is cool but it would be nice to have more parameters if only as a guide on which way to optimize. By the end of the main game I felt like I had learned very little.
