Why is noVidya spike so sharp, despite Jensen cutting back production?

I haven't been asked to take part in the survey for years. Don't less than 10% of steam users even take part in it?

What kind of new LGBTQ flags are those?

You just opt in and it collects the data automatically. They haven't done manual surveys in years.

Because that production cut hasn't even started to impact flow yet? It won't show until late 2026, and even then they've ramped up 2000 series and 3000 series card production, which will in theory be even cheaper than amd gpus while also being more powerful in most real world cases.

sorry brother, no amount of le ebin reddit meme reactions will disprove the fact that every dev optimizes for nvidia.
>>
>>736161241
And despite that they still can't be price competitive
>>

It usually asks me once every other year. I don't know if it's a case where it only prompts you to take it if you've actually had an actual change in hardware since the last time or not.

>optimizes
That's a strong word.

Why did AMD lose that much ground with GPUs?
>>
>>736161052
Who in their right mind would buy 2000 and 3000 series cards at MSRP instead of going second hand for a third of the price

>there are people still using intel

probably people buying premades before the crash took effect

I got AMD last year and I have a good idea about why.

Amd puts 2 year old gpus into maintenence mode and their new stuff isnt going to be supported with the unreleased stuff coming out in the next year or so.

People buying nvidia aren't known for their acumen

shit drivers
shit technologies
shit support
was terrible at local neuroslop until last year
is more overpriced than nvidia in some countries

>Release drivers that bricks your old cards
>Release driver that turns off the fans
>Release "game ready driver"™ that lowers performance

AMD Bros lost bigly.
The only GPU I had that didn't work properly was AMD.

I was hoping intel would step up but it looks like that isn't happening.
>>
>>736162613
AMD drivers are a lot better than nvidia because they don't actually brick your shit.

>>736162193
falling for the meme that people will buy them over nvidia if they try catching up to their tech and giving slight discount instead of focusing to deliver a solid, well priced and SUPPORTED product

the reality is AMD is trying to market to people who will never be their potential costumer and taking the ever present bait of "i want AMD to compete so i can buy nvidia cheaper". because even if AMD does compete and offers better performance for better price (9070xt vs 5070ti, 9060xt vs 5060 ti. market dependent, i know.), people will just buy nvidia anyway whether it's for "muh dlss, muh cuda, muh AI). people will sooner buy 5080 to get 16gb vram from nvidia than consider AMD no matter how much more they have to pay. AMD could release gpu that is in every way equal to 5090, for cheaper, and everyone would still buy 5090.

it doesn't really matter if paying 50% more for less performance because you want slightly better DLSS to cope with the lack of performance makes sense or not for the buyer, what matters is that the person will not buy AMD under any circumstance but AMD is trying to chase that customer anyway. to the point where they don't give FSR4 to people who bought their older GPUs, who are guaranteed to just not buy AMD again if they get fucked over.

AMD has to provide cards that are well priced, have good VRAM and good support. it doesn't matter if FSR is 5% worse than DLSS on launch, it matters if you aren't getting the FSR upgrade in half a year because AMD decide it's a good idea to artificially limit it only to their latest cards.
