>Factorio>The cooler Factorio
chinktorio
>>736168596>It's cooler because it's heavily dumbed down
>>736168845>dumbed downit's no dumber than Factorio.connect machine with wire/belt/pipe to other machine. that's it, that's the whole game
I suppose you meant to post a screenshot of either DSP or Mindustry. It happens, OP. But now stop being a faggot and delete the thread to post the proper picture.
>>736168596boobs in work clothes...
>>736169680You could argue that it's slightly dumbed down given the ability to build in the Z lets you spaghetti shit harder. Also no biters. Still not exactly ball and gun.
>>736168596>infinite materials>so it's just a game of balancing ratiosEhh...
More important, does Factorio have only the same one world every time? (Or two, there is one bonus I think)That was kind of annoying for me in Satisfactory. It is a nice one but gets boring after a while, varying landing spots or not.
>>736171309No, it's RNG with more fine-tune settings than sillytavern.
>>736168596Too bad Satisfailtory never got to even fifty perfect of Factorio cool factor(hue). And that's me giving it A LOT of extra credit.
>>736171309Nah dude, Factorio even gives you multiple worlds that have to be rolled for every game.
>>736171309factorio worlds are procedurally generatedwhat gets me about satisfactory is that utterly garbage tools you have to move, expand, and replace your factory.building in 3D without readily accessible means of creative flight (to use a minecraft term) is also a damn hassle
Stupid test about overlap in gaming tastes:How many of you autistic are in KSP and/or watching the Artemis launch right now
>>736171849You get two different jetpacks. In early game you're meant to use the watchtowers. It's why the building range is massive
>>736171110resources are already basically infinite in factorio if you move even a little bit from spawn
>>736171849>without readily accessible means of creative flightPower armor mod was nice while was updated
>>736168596Factorio for women. The focus is on decorating your base, the factory stuff is an afterthought.
>>736168596>forced to play as a mono-gender blob with both boobs and male proportions because the devs are wokewow that's the coolest thing i can think of
I like both =)
>>736168596I watched a play through of this game by someone who played Factorio, and Satisfactory just gets lamer as you progress. It's the opposite of Factorio, which gets more awesome as you progress.Factorio isn't as neurospicy though. It lets you eventually automate large scale projects, whereas with Satisfactory you need to place every individual thing down all the way to the very end.
>>736176017Satisfactory has blueprints. I don’t know if it’s a new thing since I only started it a couple weeks ago.
>>736176470Satisfactory blueprints are dogshit and start off tiny. Even the largest blueprint machine doesn't fit around a single big building.
>>736168596Once past the honeymoon phase you're going to start groaning for every step of the way once you realise how tedious what you need to do is. Building even the smallest of things requires a million clicks and wresting with conveyors and pipes to get them to place where you want. Oh wait you forgot to bring rotors -- time to slowly run across your entire factory to fetch some for the hundredth time.I will admit most of my dislike for the game is from playing early access with the sheer incompetence of the devs. Everyone who played the game for more than an hour said "Would be nice to be able to click n drag to place foundations" yet it took them YEARS to implement such a basic yet highly requested feature. But hey at least they gave us the ability to literally throw stuff down the garbage to unlock a coffee cup that does fucking nothing.
>Takes 5hours to make a single factory because of the extra dimensionno thanks
>>736177645Bro, your Dimensional Depot?
>>736168596>read every complaint itt>all easily solved by using the tools given to you I've concluded /v/ is severely retarded
>>736177645>time to slowly run across your entire factory to fetch some for the hundredth time>He doesn't have a central storage
>>736177645It's called dimensional storage you colossal fucktard>>736179762its called blueprints, sorry you're too stupid to figure that one out>>736176621too stupid to figure out how to have sectional blueprints?
>>736179762The third dimension is actually really fun. Factorio doesn't NEED it but Satisfactory definitely benefits from it.
they kept adding more stupid shit without improving the basic stuff like building or combat
>>736168596>Map is always the same>Infinite resources and all enemies are in static locations, no difficulty>Only content is constantly replacing your factory every step of the tech level to make it go slightly faster>Devs are faggots that implemented blueprints in the worst possible way ON PURPOSE because they didn't want to admit they were retarded by not having them in the first place just to say "teehee see how bad blueprints are, aren't we smarter than you"Mediocre game, shit devs. Hope all of them get laid off and kill themselves. That includes you OP, buy an ad
>>736181204There's also some other more subtle things that make it worse too. What I love about science in Factorio is that it basically shows you what you SHOULD be automating and fully automating science is a big deal. In Satisfactory you're just making specific components purely for the elevator and usually tear down the factory after you're done. I guess you could sink them instead of tearing down the factory but you're basically encouraged to do so because of those resources you have a hard limit of how much iron/copper/whatnot you can get out of a location.
>>736180607okay, how do I get new worlds so I will not sooner or later building my crap up or down the same routes again?
>>736181995Okay first off, if you have sincerely build everywhere that means you are either 6 playthroughs deep or severely, SEVERELY autistic. The map is absolutely fucking massive. So either way, you're being dishonest.Secondly, factorio world generation literally does not matter. You do the exact same thing every time. So factorio is not some godlike masterpiece where every run is different.
>>736182258so it is not fixable by given tools, thanks for proving yourself wrong
>>736180926Last I played you still had to hook power and belts up to your blueprints which half defeats the purpose.
>>736168596>game about building a factory>the building mechanics are tedious to the point of torture >main character is a womxn and the devs gets very defensive over herWhat did 3D fags mean by that?
>>736168596Factorio is the better game but I can't build a hypertube cannon in Factorio so there.
>>736184246Honestly surprised no one's modded that yet.
>>736169680>no inserters>dedicated fixed IO ports on machines>single lane belts>no need to plan for power poles>separate mergers, splitters and smart splitters instead of an allmighty splitter that splits, merges, balances or filters on of it's own, but also thanks to double lanes it has some things it can't do>no enemy attacks>infinite resources>pitifully small amounts of stuff needed for progress, all you needis a trickle whileyou automate theother shit you need>can clip almost anything, eliminating the puzzle element of having to deal with the parts of the factory from the past youIt is absolutely dumbed downWhat's your mining setup in satisfactory? Oh that's right, there isn't one, you just put the miner down, drag a belt and that's it, just like everyone else
>>736171849Unironically building in GTNH with a matter manipulator, wireless ME terminal and any sort of creative flight is not only faster than shartifactory, but also more flexible and creative as you can do fun shit with multis instead of having the exact same setup every time
>>736171468Phase 4 and ending reeks of "we're bored of making this now and want to leave EA"
>>736183625>What did 3D fags mean by that?3D fags actually play DSP, Satisfactory is only shilled by trannies like the ones ITT
